Abstract

Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) merupakan penyerap tenaga kerja terbesar di Indonesia. Sayangnya sampai sekarang masih banyak terjadi kecelakaan kerja pada UKM. CV Nusantara Enterprise merupakan salah satu ukm yang masih muda dan memiliki masalah ergonomi yang beresiko menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja. Masalah ini berupa tidak sesuainya ukuran dan dimensi rak penyimpanan barang yang menyebabkan pekerja harus mengalami postur tubuh yang tidak ergonomis untuk bisa melakukan aktivitas material handling. Postur yang tidak ergonomis dapat menyebabkan terjadinya lower back pain dan kecelakaan kerja sejenis. Untuk mengurangi masalah ini dapat digunakan metode-metode ergonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Nordic Body Map, Energy Expenditure Prediction Program (EEPP), dan Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). REBA mengukur tingkat resiko postur tubuh yang dilakukan oleh pekerja. Sedangkan Nordic Body Map mengukur beban kerja secara kualitatif dan EEPP mengukur beban kerja secara kuantitatif. Hasil dari metode-metode tersebut adalah rekomendasi dimensi rak penyimpanan baru dengan tingkat resiko yang lebih kecil. Dikarenakan berubahnya ukuran dan bentuk rak penyimpanan yang baru tersebut, digunakan metode Computerized Relationship Layout Planning (Corelap) untuk menyesuaikan dengan layout baru.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the largest absorber of labor in Indonesia. Unfortunately, until now there are still many work accidents in SMEs. CV Nusantara Enterprise is a young SME that has ergonomic problems that are at risk of causing workplace accidents. This problem is in the form of incompatibility in the size and dimensions of goods storage shelves which causes workers to experience non-ergonomic postures to be able to carry out material handling activities. Non-ergonomic postures can cause lower back pain and similar work accidents. To reduce this problem, ergonomics methods can be used. The methods used are Nordic Body Map, Energy Expenditure Prediction Program (EEPP), and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). REBA measures the level of risk of posture performed by workers. Whereas the Nordic Body Map measures workload qualitatively and EEPP measures workload quantitatively. The results of these methods are recommendations for new storage rack dimensions with a lower level of risk. Due to changes in the size and shape of the new storage rack, the Computerized Relationship Layout Planning (Corelap) method is used to adjust to the new layout.
