Abstract
Pantai Indonesia memiliki potensi yang sangat besar untuk dikembangkan namun juga rentan terhadap kerusakan seperti abrasi. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah membangun struktur pelindung pantai berupa breakwater. Floating breakwater memiliki beberapa kelebihan dibandingkan dengan fixed breakwater, diantaranya lebih ekonomis, lebih ramah lingkungan, lebih mudah untuk dipasang dan dipindah-pindahkan. Pada penelitian kali ini penulis akan menganalisis koefisien transmisi (Kt) dan koefisien refleksi (Kr) gelombang dari model fisik floating breakwater tipe gergaji kemudian penulis akan membandingkan Kt dan Kr floating breakwater tipe gergaji dengan tipe pontoon berdasarkan variasi kedalaman air. Model menggunakan bahan Poly Lactic Acid (PLA). Kedalaman air yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 cm, 40 cm, dan 45 cm dengan skala 1:50. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil koefisien transmisi dari terkecil ke terbesar adalah kedalaman 45 cm, 40 cm, 35 cm secara berurutan dan koefisien refleksi dari terkecil ke terbesar adalah kedalaman 35 cm, 40 cm, 45 cm secara berurutan. Kemudian Kt dan Kr floating breakwater gergaji lebih kecil daripada tipe pontoon dimana pada kedalaman 35 cm Kt floating breakwater tipe gergaji lebih kecil 1.51%, kedalaman 40 cm lebih kecil 1.68%, dan kedalaman 45 cm lebih kecil 3.31%. Untuk Kr floating breakwater tipe gergaji lebih kecil 3.02% pada kedalaman 35 cm, kedalaman 40 cm lebih kecil 3.21%, dan kedalaman 45 cm lebih kecil 3.37%.============================================================================================================Indonesian coast has a big potential to develop but very susceptible and very easy to be damaged by abrasion. One of the solution to overcome this problem is built breakwater as coastal protection structures. Floating breakwater has a several advantages than fixed breakwater, including more economical, more eco-friendly, more simple and more easy to move to another place. In this study the things that will be analyzed are the transmission coefficient (Kt) and reflection coefficient (Kr) of wave from saw floating breakwater based on water depth variation and then the result will be compared with pontoon floating breakwater. The depth of water that used in this experiment is 35 cm, 40 cm, and 45 cm in scale 1:50 and the model use Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) material. Based on the experiment, the result of transmission coefficient from the smallest to the biggest is depth of 45 cm, 40 cm, 35 cm sequentially and reflection coefficient from the smallest to the biggest is depth of 35 cm, 40 cm, 45 cm sequentially. Then Kt and Kr of saw floating breakwater is smaller than pontoon type. For depth of 35 cm Kt of saw floating breakwater is smaller 1.51%, for depth 40 cm is smaller 1.68% and for 45 cm is smaller 3.31%. For Kr of saw floating breakwater, depth of 35 cm is smaller 3.02%, for depth 40 cm is smaller 3.21%, and for depth 45 cm is smaller 3.37%.
