Abstract

Ketergantungan aktivitas manusia akan kebutuhan listrik menjadi masalah akhir-akhir ini ketika suplai listrik kurang terpenuhi ataupun terjadinya pemadaman listrik. Maka dari itu laboratorium kontrol dan proteksi daya, membuat mini power plant guna mengetahui bagaimana listrik di produksi hingga distribusi listrik ke masyarakat. Mini power plant ini merupakan power plant dengan generator yang digerakkan oleh motor tiga fasa. Distributed control system (DCS) merupakan suatu sistem untuk mengendalikan variabel proses dan unit operasi proses menjadi suatu pengendalian yang terpusat pada suatu control room dengan berbagai fungsi pengendalian, monitoring dan optimasi. DCS pada sistem kali ini mendistribusikan pengendalian ke beberapa field devices yang diintegerasikan dengan PLC Schneider M221 dan HMI menggunakan protokol modbus RTU RS-485. Pengujian dilakukan antara DCS dengan generator excitation panel dengan mengirimkan tegangan dari 0-5V yang terintegrasi dengan PLC dan HMI, menghasilkan error sebesar 0,0023 V. Kemudian pengujian dilakukan mengenai break pada motor maupun generator sesuai batas parameter yang diukur masing-masing. PLC memberikan perintah break dan memberi peringatan alarm pada HMI, ketika parameter kurang atau lebih tinggi dari setpoint.

Dependence on human activities will require electricity lately the compilation problems of electricity supply is less fulfilled. Therefore, control and power protection laboratories make mini power plants to find out about electricity production for electricity distribution to the community. This mini power plant is a power plant with a generator driven by a three-phase motor. Distributed control system (DCS) is a system for controlling process variables and process operations units into controls that are centralized in the control room with various control functions, monitoring and optimization. DCS on this system issued coordination to several field devices integrated with Schneider M221 and HMI PLCs using the modbus RTU RS-485 protocol. Tests were carried out between DCS and generator excitation panels by sending voltages from 0-5V integrated with PLC and HMI, resulting in errors of 0.0023 V. Then testing of motors and generators was carried out in accordance with the respective parameter limits. The PLC gives a break command and gives a warning to the HMI, the compilation parameter is less or higher than the setpoint.
