Abstract

Tanaman padi merupakan komoditas utama pangan masyarakat di Indonesia. Produksi tanaman padi dengan kadar karbohidrat rendah perlu dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan lahan marjinal seperti pasir pantai. Penggunaan pasir pantai sebagai media budidaya tanaman dapat dikombinasikan dengan pemberian pupuk mikoriza dan bahan organik. Inokulasi pupuk mikoriza terhadap media pasir pantai dan bahan organik dapat dilakukan pada waktu yang berbeda. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu inokulasi mikoriza pada campuran media tanam AMB-07 dan pasir pantai terhadap pertumbuhan dan karbohidrat tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L.) var. Inpari 13. Perlakuan waktu inokulasi mikoriza yang dilakukan terdiri dari waktu inokulasi hari semai ke-10, 15, 20, 25, dan 30. Uji kadar karbohidrat tanaman padi dilakukan dengan metode kolorimetri (fenol-asam sulfat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan waktu inokulasi mikoriza hari ke-10 memiliki tinggi tanaman tertinggi yaitu 93,64 cm, jumlah malai tertinggi yaitu 12 malai, dan kadar karbohidrat terendah yaitu 23764 ppm. Perlakuan K3 atau dengan penambahan pupuk kimia menunjukkan hasil jumlah anakan tertinggi yaitu 11 anakan dan berat kering tanaman tertinggi yaitu 27,48 gram.

Rice plants are the main food commodity for the people in Indonesia. The production of rice plants with low carbohydrate levels needs to be carried out by utilizing marginal land such as coastal sand. The use of coastal sand as a plant cultivation medium can be combined with the application of mycorrhizal fertilizer and organic matter. The inoculation of mycorrhizal fertilizer into coastal sand and organic matter media can be carried out at different times. This study was conducted to determine the effect of mycorrhizal inoculation timing on a mixture of AMB-07 planting medium and coastal sand on the growth and carbohydrate content of rice plants (Oryza sativa L.) var. Inpari 13. The mycorrhizal inoculation time treatments consisted of inoculation on nursery days 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30. The carbohydrate content test of rice plants was carried out using the colorimetric method (phenol-sulfuric acid). The results showed that the mycorrhizal inoculation time treatment on day 10 resulted in the highest plant height of 93.64 cm, the highest number of panicles of 12 panicles, and the lowest carbohydrate content of 23764 ppm. The K3 treatment or with the addition of chemical fertilizer showed the highest number of tillers of 11 tillers and the highest plant dry weight of 27.48 grams.
