Abstract

Teknologi penerbangan yang merupakan salah satu disiplin ilmu tersendiri yang memfokuskan pada sarana transportasi udara , alat pertahanan negara serta pengetahuan antariksa, telah mengalami kemajuan yang sangat signifikan. Dalam military turbofan sendiri memakai proses mixing aliran dengan afterburning (Afterburning Turbofan). Pengujian dilakukan dengan menngunakan data military turbofan engine F100-PW220 dengan menggunakan data hasil running Engine Test Cell pada kondisi idle sebelum technical inspection terhadap engine , kondisi idle , intermediate dan maximum afterburner dengan tolak ukur kinerja yaitu besar gaya dorong yang dihasilkan (Thrust), gaya dorong specifik (Spesific Thrust) serta Thrust Spesific Fuel Consumption (TSFC) pada keempatkondisi tersebut. Pengujian dilakukan dengan engine dalam kondisi static ( sea level). Dari hasil pengujian didapat Gaya dorong teritinggi dihasilkan oleh engine dalam kondisi maximum afterburner sebesar 46729,51753 N (46,729 KN), Gaya dorong spesifik tertinggi didapat ketika engine running dalam kondisi maximum afterburner sebesar 1377,5578 (N.s/kg). Untuk Thrust Spesific Fuel Consumption (TSFC) didapat nilai tertinggi pada saat engine running dalam kondisi max afterburner dengan nilai TSFC sebesar 0,308 (kg.fuel/N.h).

In this era, military turbofan became the main defense tool for the Indonesian Air Force in Indonesia. The use of military turbofan is very important because compared to military turbojet the thrust produced is a very significant difference. In military turbofan, the process of mixing flow with afterburning (Afterburning Turbofan) is used. The test was carried out by using F100-PW220 military turbofan engine data using running Engine Test Cell data on idle conditions before technical inspection of the engine, idle conditions, intermediate and maximum afterburner with performance benchmarks, namely thrust, force Specific thrust (Specific Thrust) as well as Thrust Specific Fuel Consumption (TSFC) in these four conditions. Tests are carried out with the engine in static (sea level) conditions. From the test results obtained the highest thrust was generated by the engine in maximum afterburner conditions of 46729,51753 N (46,729 KN), the highest specific thrust was obtained when the engine was running at maximum afterburner conditions of 1377,5578 (N.s / kg). For Thrust Specific Fuel Consumption (TSFC) the highest value is obtained when the engine is running in maximum afterburner with TSFC data of 0,308 (kg.fuel / Nh).
