Abstract

Mesin Paint Engrave adalah salah satu mesin produksi yang terletak di PT Petrojaya Boral Pasterboard, mesin ini memproduksi papan gypsum plasterboard sesuai permintaan customer. Mesin ini bekerja di hari kerja selama 2 shift atau 8 jam/shift, karena intensitas mesin digunakan secara terus menerus dapat mengakibatkan kinerja dari mesin dapat berkurang. Pada mesin ini maintenance dilakukan ketika terdapat trouble, untuk saat ini mesin masih menggunakan sistem konvensional dimana kelemahan jika mesin produksi masih menggunakan sistem konvensional adalah memakan waktu cukup lama maintenance untuk troubleshooting jika adanya trouble pada mesin ini dan berakibat memperlambat produksi. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan perubahan sistem pada mesin dari sistem konvensional ke sistem automation. Perubahan sistem ini tidak semua 1 mesin full dirubah, hanya pada bagian tertentu yang mengalami tingkat trouble lebih sering daripada bagian lain di mesin ini. bagian itu adalah suspensi. Pada bagian ini dirubah sistem kerja menjadi otomatis menggunakan PLC, dan menghilangkan push button dengan mengganti melalui HMI. PLC akan mengkontrol roller, 4 sensor photosensor, dan 2 timer pada suspensi. Hasil dari perubahan sistem ini dapat dilihat dari berkurangnya trouble yang biasa terjadi di bagian ini saat masih menggunakan sistem konvensional. Dengan hasil perubahan sistem pada mesin paint engrave di bagian suspensi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi down time mesin paint engrave sebesar 0,15%

Paint Engrave Machine is one of the production machines located in PT Petrojaya Boral Pasterboard, this machine produces plasterboard gypsum boards as requested by the customer. This machine works on weekdays for 2 shifts or 8 hours / shift, because the intensity of the machine is used continuously can result in reduced engine performance. On this machine maintenance is carried out when there is trouble, for now the machine still uses a conventional system where the disadvantage if the production engine is still using a conventional system is that it takes a long time to maintain troubleshooting if there is trouble on this machine and results in slow production. Therefore, a system change from a conventional system to an automation system is needed. Changes to this system are not all fully changed machines, only in certain parts that experience a level of trouble more often than other parts on this machine. that part is suspension. In this section the working system is changed to automatically use the PLC, and removes the push button by replacing it via HMI. The PLC will control the roller, 4 photosensor sensors, and 2 timers on the suspension. The results of this system change can be seen from the reduced trouble that usually occurs in this part when still using conventional systems. With the results of system changes on the paint engrave engine in the suspension section, it can increase the paint engrave engine down time efficiency by 0.15%
