Abstract

Generator adalah mesin yang berfungsi mengkonversi energi mekanik menjadi energi listrik. Dalam generator diperlukan suatu system yang dapat menjaga nilai output daya generator. Sistem eksitasi berfungsi untuk menjaga nilai output daya generator agar tetap stabil ketika diberi variansi beban. Sebagai simulator percobaan module eksitasi pada Mini Power Plant dibuat rangkaian DC-DC boost converter, untuk melakukan pengaturan nilai tegangan DC-DC boost converter dengan range sebesar 24VDC-100VDC yang menggunakan komponen inductor sebesar 300uH berjenis toroida, kapasitor sebesar 33uF 150V berbahan elco, diode rectifier fast recovery 15A, Mosfet IRFP460 bertipe N-Channel yang dikontrol menggunakan Mikrokontroller ATMega 8535 dengan error pembacaan nilai adc yang dikarenkan oleh nilai Vref yang kurang sesuai sehingga diperoleh hasil bahwa rangkaian yang dibuat memiliki nilai error yang cukup besar pada saat open circuit dan memiliki nilai output yang sama dengan input ketika rangkian pada saat close circuit.

A generator is a machine that conversion mechanical energy into electrical energy. In a generator, a system is needed that can maintain the value of generator power output. The excitation system functions to maintain the generator power output value to remain stable when given load variance. As an excitation module experiment simulator on the Mini Power Plant a DC-DC boost converter circuit is made to regulate the DC-DC boost converter voltage values with a range of 24 VDC - 100 VDC that uses a toroidal inductor component of 300uH, 33uF 150V capacitor made from elco, diode fast recovery 15A rectifier, Mosfet IRFP460 type N-Channel which is controlled using ATMega 8535 microcontroller with an error the adc value which is based on the Vref value that is not suitable so that the resulting circuit has a large error value when open circuit and has a value the output is the same as the input when ranking in close circuit.
