Abstract

Cone es krim memiliki kandungan nutrisi yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ikan. Nutrisi yang terdapat dalam pakan, akan dapat diserap secara efisien oleh ikan apabila ditambahkan probiotik kedalamnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan probiotik pada pelet dari cone es krim terhadap pertumbuhan, kadar proksimat dan respon imun ikan lele dumbo . Metode yang digunakan adalah pembuatan pelet dengan penambahan probiotik, yang kemudian diberikan pada ikan lele dumbo dengan kombinasi K.0, K.1, K.2, K.3, dan K.4 yang dipelihara selama 25 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertambahan berat sebesar 5.69 ± 0.53 g, panjang 2.45 ± 0.45cm, respon imun dengan kadar leukosit sebesar 27.16 x 103/sel/mm3 dan nilai FCR terendah 4.23 ± 0.53 pada kelompok perlakuan K4 (konsentrasi 20 ml/kg) dan kandungan protein sebesar 15.25% berpengaruh terhadap kelompok perlakuan K2 (konsentrasi 5 ml/kg). Pelet dari Cone es krim yang diberi penambahan probiotik dengan konsentrasi berbeda berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan, kadar proksimat dan respon imun ikan lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus).

Ice cream cone has nutrient content which can be used as fish feed. The nutrients content in feed, can be absorbed efficiently by fish, when the probiotic is added in it. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of probiotic addition in pellet from expired bread on the growth, proximate level and immune response of African catfish. The method that used is the pellets production with the addition of probiotics in it, and after that, the pellets giving to the Clarias gariepinus uses a combination of K0, K1, K2, K3 and K4 which are maintained for 25 days. The results showed that the highest weight gain, length and number of leukocyte (6,97 ± 0,31 g; 2.17 ± 1.24 cm; 27.16 x103 / cell / mm3) and the lowest FCR value (4.23 ± 0.53) in treatment of K4 and protein content increase 15.25%in treatment K2. Pellets from ice cream cone which were given the addition of probiotics with different concentrations affected to the growth, proximate levels and immune response of African catfish (Clarias gariepinus).
