Abstract

Pada Plant Simulator Level Kontrol terdapat dua jenis sistem kontrol yakni Master Control dan Slave Control. Cascade Control Sytem yang dibuat pada tugas akhir ini adalah Slave Control yang memberikan disturbance variable berupa laju aliran. Laju aliran dapat dimanipulasi melalui porsentase bukaan valve oleh user dengan memberikan setpoint pada HMI. Tujuan adanya Cascade Control ini adalah untuk mempercepat reduksi nilai Error pada Master Control yakni Level Control. Untuk mengetahui kinerja dari sistem kontrol tersebut maka dilakukan analisa dari grafik respon kontrol. Grafik respon kontrol sistem didapatkan dari pengujian pengaruh integrasi Cascade Control System pada setpoint Level 10 cm dan setpoint porsentase bukaan valve 50%. Dari data gafik respon kontrol hasil pengujian didapatkan nilai Rise Time sebesar 5 detik, Settling Time sebesar 23 detik, Maksimum Overshoot sebesar 11 cm, Minimum Overshoot sebesar 9 cm, dan nilai Error Steady state sebesar 5% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Cascade Control System membuat sistem kontrol Level bekerja stabil dan optimal. ===========================================================================================================================
In the Plant Level Control Simulator, there are two types of control systems namely Master Control and Slave Control. Cascade Control System created in this final project is Slave Control which gives disturbance variable in the form of flow rate. The flow rate can be manipulated through the percentage of valve openings by the user by giving a setpoint to the HMI. The purpose of this Cascade Control is to accelerate the reduction in Error values in the Master Control, namely Level Control. To find out the performance of the control system, an analysis of control response graphs was performed. The graph of control system response is obtained from testing the effect of the integration of the Cascade Control System at the 10 cm Level setpoint and the 50% valve opening setpoint. From the control response result, the Rise Time value is 6 seconds, the Settling Time is 23 seconds, the Maximum Overshoot is 11 cm, the Minimum Overshoot is 9 cm, and the Steady state Error value is 5% so it can be concluded that the Cascade Control System makes the system Level control works stable and optimal.
