Abstract
Aliansi Renault bernama “Aliance 2022” yang beranggotakan Renault, Nissan, dan Mitsubishi memperluas pasar di Asia Tenggara, dan melakukan riset pengembangan mobil listrik bersama dengan Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya (PENS) di Indonesia. Riset ini dilakukan berdasarkan basis model transportasi milik Renault, yakni Renault Twizy, dimana Renault Twizy merupakan mobil listrik berkapasitas 2 seater. Dengan demikian, Reanult berusaha mengembangkan mobilnya dengan target market untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar Indonesia yaitu mobil dengan kapasitas 4 seater. Mengembangkan mobil dari 2 seater menjadi 4 seater tidak semudah kedengarannya, dimana riset ini perlu dilakaukan pengembangan platform yang cukup signifikan tanpa meninggalkan DNA dari Reanault Twizy yaitu bentukan telur diatas roda (Egg Shape). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendesain next generation of Renault Twizy tahun 2020 dan menerapkan DNA-nya pada platform yang dikembangkan menjadi 4 seater. Adapun metode untuk menentukan target pasar adalah persona dan analisa MSCA. Untuk pengembangan platform dilakukan metode digital integrated design dengan menggunakan software. Untuk pengembangan konsep dan bentuk dilakukan perumusan konsep berdasarkan DNA Twizy, brand identity Renault, dan target user. Kemudian dilakukan analisa passenger package berdasarkan antropometri orang Indonesia yang bertujuan untuk menemukan base dimension dari platform mobil. Kemudian dilakukan Forming development new generation of Renault Twizy berdasarkan tren otomotif tahun 2020 yang diterapkan pada base dimension yang sudah ditemukan. Dari berbagai proses tersebut didapatkan hasil berupa konsep desain mobil listrik Renault Twizy 4 seater untuk pasar Indonesia tahun 2020, disertai dengan dokumen desain terkait dengan engineering Renault Twizy 2 seater menjadi 4 seater. Adapun manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkan metode pengembangan platform dari 2 seater menjadi 4 seater, dan metode pengembangan bentuk brand otomotif terkemuka.

The Renault Alliance, named "Aliance 2022", which consists of Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi, is expanding its market in Southeast Asia, and is conducting research on the development of electric cars along with the Surabaya State Electronic Polytechnic (PENS) in Indonesia. This research was carried out based on Renault Twizy's transportation model, which is Renault Twizy, where the Renault Twizy is a 2 seater electric car. Thus, Reanult tried to develop its car with the target market to meet the needs of the Indonesian market, namely cars with a capacity of 4 seater. Developing a car from 2 seater to 4 seater is not as easy as it sounds, where this research needs to be done by developing a significant platform without leaving DNA from Reanault Twizy, which is the formation of eggs on wheels (Egg Shape).The purpose of this study is to design the next generation of Renault Twizy in 2020 and to apply its DNA on a platform developed into 4 seater. The methods for determining market targets are MSCA persona and analysis. For the development of the platform digital integrated design method is carried out using software. For the development of concepts and forms, the concept formulation is based on Twizy DNA, Renault identity brand, and target users. Then the passenger package analysis is based on Indonesian anthropometry which aims to find the base dimension of the car platform. Then forming the development of new generation of Renault Twizy based on the automotive trend in 2020 that was applied to the base dimension that had been found.From the various processes, the results are the design concept of the Renault Twizy 4 seater electric car for the Indonesian market in 2020, accompanied by design documents related to engineering Renault Twizy 2 seater to 4 seater. The benefits of this research are the platform development method from 2 seater to 4 seater, and the method of developing the form of a leading automotive brand.
