Abstract

Sedangkan saat kondisi Non Line of Sight selisihnya sebesar 279,94 mm.

Elderly tends to have a high degree of dependency to survive. The rate of dependence on elderly in 2017 is at 13.28% [1]. This can be a problem if the elderly do not have people who are always ready to accompany him at any time. Actually to overcome these problems, a development of a robotic service and vital sign based system has been carried out. However, the developed system has not been able to monitor the elderly to the level of activity carried out [2]by them. Therefore, in this Final Project an ultrawideband-based positioning system is designed to support smart home for elderly. The ultrawideband based tracking system to support smart home for seniors is composed of five sub-systems, including: indoor positioning system, database system, data processing system, actuator system and application user interface. Based on the testing of the smart home system, several conclusions can be drawn such as: the accuracy of reading the position of the elderly coordinates when the Line of Sight condition has a diference of only 98.884 mm with the position of the actual coordinates. Whereas when the Non Line of Sight condition the diference is 279.94 mm. The application of the average lter method on the data processing system successfully reduced the error significantly from the initial value of 164.39% to only 1.096%. The built-in actuator system has an accuracy of 98% success rate and the Android-based application user interface created has a user experience rate of 92.3%.
