Abstract
Antena merupakan perangkat penting dalam front end sistem telekomunikasi. Antenna Vivaldi adalah antena planar yang bekerja pada bandwidth yang lebar, dengan direktifitas dan gain yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa karakteristik pola radiasi, memodelkan pola radiasi, analisa mutual coupling, memodelkan mutual coupling dan mereduksi mutual coupling antena array Vivaldi. Tahap awal penelitian ini yaitu mendesain elemen antena dan antena array. Langkah selanjutnya menganalisa karakteristik elemen antena serta merumuskan pemodelan pola radiasi elemen antena. Model pola radiasi antena Vivaldi yang didapat akan digunakan untuk analisa total array pattern dan merumuskan pemodelan mutual coupling antena. Tahapan akhir penelitian ini adalah membuat metode pengurangan mutual coupling antena array Vivaldi. Hasil pemodelan akan diverifikasi dengan hasil simulasi dan hasil pengukuran. Antena yang dibuat adalah antena Vivaldi Coplanar, bekerja pada 2-10 GHz, menggunakan FR4, dan mutual coupling dibawah -20 dB. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan karakteristik pola radiasi antena Vivaldi, pemodelan pola radiasi antena Vivaldi, pemodelan mutual coupling, dan metode pengurangan mutual coupling antena Vivaldi. Pemodelan yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan untuk analisa antena array Vivaldi yang dapat disimulasikan menggunakan program matlab.

Antenna is an important device at the front end of the telecommunications system. The Vivaldi antenna is a planar antenna that works at wide bandwidth, with high directivity and gain. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the radiation pattern, model the radiation pattern, analyze mutual coupling, model mutual coupling and reduce mutual coupling of the Vivaldi array antenna. The initial stage of this research is to design the antenna elements and antenna array. The next step is to analyze the characteristics of the antenna element and makes a radiation pattern modelling of the antenna elements. The Vivaldi antenna radiation pattern model will be used to analyze the total array pattern and to develop the mutual coupling modeling. The final step of this research is to develop a technique for mutual coupling reduction of Vivaldi antena array. The modeling results will be verified with simulation results and measurement results. The Vivaldi Coplanar antenna array, works at 2-10 GHz, uses FR4, and achieve the mutual coupling below -20 dB. From this study we obtained the characteristics of the Vivaldi antenna radiation pattern, the modelling of Vivaldi antenna radiation pattern, the development of mutual coupling modelling and the technique of mutual coupling reduction of Coplanar Vivaldi antenna array. The modeling results can be used to analyze Coplanar Vivaldi antenna array that can be simulated using the matlab program.
