Abstract

Hybrid Vertical Take-Off Landing (VTOL) UAV merupakan salah satu klasifikasi pesawat tanpa awak yang berkemampuan melayang dan terbang secara vertikal tanpa membutuhkan landasan konvensional. Salah satu hal yang penting dalam proses perancangan hybrid VTOL yaitu sistem propulsi. Pengujian perangkat propulsi pada test bench masih menggunakan alat ukur analog. Cara tersebut mengakibatkan kerusakan terhadap alat ukur serta tidak dapat melakukan penyimpanan data hasil pengukuran. Proses pengukuran sistem propulsi menggunakan sistem sensor akan mendapatkan data secara real time. Proses pengiriman data sensor ke mikrokontroler dilakukan secara serial. Pada mikrokontroler terjadi proses konversi yang bertujuan mengolah data mentah sensor menjadi nilai gaya dorong dan kecepatan putar. Hasil pengolahan data sensor dikirimkan ke komputer melalui komunikasi serial secara real time. GUI berguna untuk memantau selama terjadi proses pengukuran. Tampilan GUI memiliki fungsi penyimpanan data hasil pengukuran. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan menghasilkan pengukuran gaya dorong memiliki nilai kesalahan sebesar 1,12%. Pengukuran kecepatan putar menggunakan sistem sensor menghasilkan nilai kesalahan sebesar 3,59%.

Hybrid Vertical Take-Off Landing (VTOL) UAV is a classification of unmanned aircraft that is capable of hover and flying vertically without the need for conventional runways. One of the important things in the process of designing a VTOL hybrid is the propulsion system. Testing of propulsion devices on the test bench still uses analog measuring instruments. This method causes damage to the measuring instrument and cannot store the measurement data. The process of measuring the propulsion system using a sensor system will get data in real time. The process of sending sensor data to the microcontroller is done serially. In the microcontroller conversion process occurs that aims to process the raw sensor data into thrust and rotational speed values. Sensor data processing results are sent to the computer via serial communication in real time. GUI is useful for monitoring during the measurement process. The GUI display has a measurement data storage function. From the tests that have been carried out it produces thrust measurements having an error value of 1.12%. Measurement of rotational speed using a sensor system produces an error value of 3.59%.
