Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease that can cause a variety of complications that affect the quality of life disabling, and should receive serious attention from various parties. BPS's data (2012) cases of diabetes mellitus in Blitar district reached 665 people, so it needs early prevention. This study intends to acquire the factors that influence the improvement of the clinical condition of patients with diabetes mellitus type II by using Weibull regression and Cox regression Proprotional Hazard and comparing the results of the two methods. The study result, obtained from the AIC value from Weibull regression smaller than AIC value from Cox proportional hazards regression, so it can be concluded that the performance of regression analysis using Weibull is better than Cox proportional hazard regression. The results obtained from Weibull regression modeling that the factors influence by improvement of the clinical condition patients with type II diabetes melitus is blood sugar nuchter, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, hypertension, smoking status, sex, ulcers and hyperglycemia. The results of Cox regression modeling Proportinal Hazard factors that influence are age, systolic blood pressure, hypertension, smoking status, ulcers, and hyperglycemia.
