Abstract
memanfaatkan gelombang P (PP wave) kurang mampu menggambarkan
=================================================================
Describing subsurface conditions which are very complex, seismic waves P
(seismic PP) are less able to describe the subsurface conditions, especially in
areas such as saturated fluid (chimney gas). Seismic PS (converted wave)
obtained from the conversion of the P wave reflections are used to solve the
problem, due to the characteristic of the S wave that could not propagate in a
fluid medium. So as to analyze the subsurface lithology in more detail, by using
inversion process that utilizes two types of seismic waves above. Inversion
process is done separately (independent inversion) between seismic PP and PS
to get the value of Vp/Vs ratio to analyze and determine the reservoir
lithology. The result of the seismic inversion PP and PS separately
(independent inversion) is in the form of a comparison of Vp/Vs ratio which
obtained from acoustic impedance (Zp) and shear impedance (Zs) cross
section. By analyzing the Vp/Vs, the reservoir lithology on GG2-GG6 area is in
the form of sand with a value of Vp/Vs <2.1, Zp <5000 m/s* kg/m3, and a
porosity of 27-29%. The largest hydrocarbon accumulation (gas) found on
window 3 (GG5-GG6) with CDP location 126504358-126504708 with depth in
the time domain 1850-1950 ms located in the west of the well, and on the CDP
viii
126504708-126504813 with depth in the time domain 1700-1800 ms in the east
of the well.
