Abstract
Kemenristek Dikti membuat peringkat Perguruan Tinggi di
Indonesia berdasarkan data yang dilaporkan seluruh universitas di
Indonesia namun belum ada pengelompokan Perguruan Tinggi
berdasarkan Indeks Prestasi (IP) mahasiswa. Kualitas input
mahasiswa pada PTN sebelumnya telah diatur oleh proses seleksi
masuk mahasiswa. Hasil prestasi akademik selanjutnya
tergantung proses di PTN masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan
menganalisis perbedaan prestasi akademik menurut jalur seleksi
dan PTN. Berdasarkan hasil statistika deskriptif, diketahui bahwa
menurut jalur seleksi masuk PTN, rata-rata prestasi akademik
mahasiswa melalui jalur SBMPTN yang terbaik. Rata-rata
prestasi akademik mahasiswa di PTN dengan akreditasi A yang
terbaik. Rata-rata prestasi akademik mahasiswa di PTN status
PTN-BH yang terbaik. Rata-rata prestasi akademik mahasiswa di
PTN yang berlokasi di Jawa yang terbaik. Berdasarkan hasil
pengujian perbedaan pengaruh dengan MANOVA, diketahui
terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada prestasi akademik menurut
masing-masing PTN, menurut jalur seleksi masuk, menurut
akreditasi PTN, menurut status pengelolaan PTN, menurut lokasi
PTN dan menurut lokasi asal mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil
analisis cluster, didapatkan 3 kelompok yang terbentuk dengan
jumlah cluster 1 sebanyak 13 PTN, cluster 2 sebanyak 22 PTN,
dan cluster 3 sebanyak 11 PTN. ========== Ministry for Research and Technology for College rank
universities in Indonesia based on the data reported all
universities in Indonesia but there is no grouping College based
on popularity Student’s Achievement Index (IP). The quality of
student input on PTN has previously arranged by the student
admission process. Results of subsequent academic achievement
depend on study process in each universities. This research aimed
to analyze the differences of academic achievement according to
the path selection and Universities. Based on the results of
Descriptive Statistics by path selection, average IP through
SBMPTN is the best, average IP at universities with accreditation
A is best, average IP at universities with status PTN-BH is the
best, and average IP at universities located in Java is the best.
Based on Multivariate Analysis of Variances (MANOVA) result,
there are significant differences in academic achievement by each
universities, according to the path selection, according to each
university’s accreditation, according to each university’s
management status, according to each university’s location and
according to the student's home location. Based on Cluster
Analysis result, obtained by three groups of university formed by
the cluster number 1 include 13 state universities, 22 universities
in cluster 2, and 3 cluster of 11 state universities.
