Abstract
Salah satu proses penting di PT. Pertamina RU IV Balongan
adalah proses pemisahan minyak pada unit main fractionator.
Proses pemisahan minyak tersebut bukanlah proses yang
sepenuhnya aman. Terdapatnya potensi bahaya pada proses
tersebut, tentunya akan menimbulkan potensi kerugian yang
cukup besar. Oleh karena itu diperlukan studi yang bertujuan
memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan penilaian resiko melalui
studi HAZOP dan perhitungan SIL melalui metode LOPA. Hasil
studi HAZOP menunjukan proses pada unit main fractionator
memiliki resiko bahaya dengan tiga kategori risk ranking yaitu
35,29% untuk kategori rendah, 29,41% untuk kategori medium,
dan 35,29% untuk kategori tinggi. Perhitungan SIL dengan
metode LOPA menunjukan angka SIL 0 untuk tiga impact event
dan NR untuk tiga impact event lainnya. ========== One important process in PT. Pertamina RU IV Balongan is
separating oil in the main fractionator unit. The oil separation
process is not a process that is completely safe. The presence of
potential hazards in the process, will create the potential for
substantial losses. Therefore we need a study that aims to provide
recommendations based on risk assessment through HAZOP
study and SIL calculation through LOPA methods. HAZOP study
results show that the process on the main fractionator unit has a
risk of danger with three category of risk ranking which are
35.29% for the category of low, 29.41% for the category of
medium, and 35.29% for the category of high. SIL calculation
based on LOPA method show that SIL 0 for the three impact
event and NR for the others .
