Abstract
Sintesis material Mg0,8Zn0,2TiO3 (MZT) dengan
menggunakan metode pencampuran attritor telah berhasil
dilakukan dengan variasi waktu milling 2 jam, 4 jam dan 6 jam.
Pencampuran dengan attritor mill dapat menghasilkan serbuk
dengan keseragaman tinggi membentuk ukuran serbuk
submikronik. Keseragaman distribusi ukuran serbuk rata-rata
sebesar 351,6 nm dengan lama waktu milling 6 jam.
Keseragaman distribusi serbuk kalsinasi Mg0,8Zn0,2TiO3 (MZT)
dengan penambahan Bi2O3 melalui proses milling 2 jam yaitu
sebesar 482,8 nm. Fasa tunggal (Mg/Zn)TiO3 diperoleh melalui
proses milling selama 6 jam dengan kecepatan 600 rpm dan
kalsinasi pada temperatur 950oC selama 4 jam. Sintering MZT
dengan penambahan 4mol% Bi2O3 pada temperatur 1100oC
selama 4 jam dan 6 jam terbentuk fasa kristalin (Mg/Zn)TiO3 dan
Bi4Ti3O12 (XRD) dan fasa non kristalin (SEM). Sifat dielektrik
dari sampel (MZTA) dengan sintering 4 jam memiliki sifat
dielektrik yang lebih baik ditandai dengan transisi polarisasi
space charge ke polarisasi dipol pada frekuensi 10Hz
dibandingkan dengan sampel (MZTB) dengan sintering selama 6
jam yang transisinya pada 1 KHz. Material MZT telah memenuhi
spesifikasi sebagai bahan dielektrik yang dapat diaplikasikan. =========== Mg0,8Zn0,2TiO3 (MZT) material synthesis by using
Attritor mill mixing method has been successfully performed by
varying the milling time of 2 hours, 4 hours and 6 hours. Attritor
mill mixing can gives the resulting high uniformity submicron
sized powder. Distribution uniformity of the powder size by an
average is of 351.6 nm with milling time up to 6 hours.
Calcination powder distribution uniformity Mg0,8Zn0,2TiO3 with
the addition of Bi2O3 through the milling process of 2 hours is
equal to 482.8 nm. Single phase (Mg/Zn)TiO3 is obtained by
milling time of 6 hours at a speed of 600 rpm and calcination at a
temperature of 950oC for 4 hours. MZT sintering with the
addition of 4mol% Bi2O3 at the temperature of 1100oC for 4 hours
and 6 hours forming crystalline phases of (Mg/Zn)TiO3 and
Bi4Ti3O12 (XRD) and non-crystalline phase (SEM). Samples
MZTA with sintering time of 4 hours giving a better dielectric
properties given by transition space charge polarization to the
polarization dipole at a frequency of 10Hz when compared with
samples (MZTB) with sintering time of 6 hours transition at 1
KHz. MZT material has met the specifications as a dielectric
material eligible for applications.
