Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa material
komposit polyurethane berpenguat serat bambu untuk
penyerapan suara pada bagian door panel kendaraan.
Permasalahan yang dikaji untuk mengetahui nilai koefisien
absorpsi suara, kekuatan tarik serta kekuatan lentur dengan
membandingkan variasi komposisi serat dengan matriksnya
menggunakan metode hand lay up. Komposisi fraksi massa serat
yang digunakan adalah 5%, 10%, 15%. Tujuannya untuk
mendapatkan nilai koefisien absorpsi suara terbaik serta sifat
mekanik yang baik. Metode yang digunakan berdasarkan
standartd ASTM E 1050, ASTM D790, ASTM D3039. Dari hasil
pengujian didapatkan nilai koefisien absorpsi suara, kekuatan
lentur dan Tarik tertinggi secara berturut turut, 0.435 pada
frekuensi 4000 Hz, 19.142 Mpa, 0.8 Mpa Nilai tertinggi ini
didapatkan pada komposit dengan presentase 15%B-85%PU.

Objective of this research was used to analyze bamboo
fibre reinforced polyurethane composite for sound absorption
used in the door panel part of the vehicle. The problem was
examined to find out the value of sound absorption coefficient,
tensile strength and flexural strength by comparing variation of
composition reinforcement and matrix using hand lay up method.
The composition of the mass fraction of the reinforcement used
were 5%, 10%, 15%. The goal was to get the best sound
absorption coefficient value and good mechanical properties. The
methods used were based on ASTM E standartd 1050, ASTM
D790, ASTM D3039. From the results was obtained by testing the
sound absorption coefficient, Tensile strength and flexural
strength in successive takes part, 0435 at 4000 Hz frequency,
19.142 MPa, 0.8 MPa. The highest value was obtained on
composite with a percentage of 15% B-85% PU.
