Abstract
perwatan transformator. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, jadwal perencanaan
perawatan transformator berdasarkan distribusi Generalized
sebesar Rp. 3.369.809.

Electricity has a very important role in the life. Electrical energy
help people in fulfilling and completing the necessities of life. Demand
for electrical energy consumption required by the public has increased,
that PT PLN (Persero) Surabaya APP must provide an electric energy
supply with adequate quality and should not be broken for 24 hours.
The transformer is one of the vital equipment in an electric distribution.
Transformer malfunction resulted in electricity supply to customers was
interrupted, and reduced then cause large losses for customers such as
industrial production process is inhibited and also the loss of income
for PT.PLN (Persero) APP Surabaya. Reliability is an optimally
maintenance method that combines a statistical approach for planning
maintenance activities based on the reliability of a component.
Therefore, the problem is how the characteristics of the data lifetime
transformer and transformer maintenance planning schedule that can
optimize the cost of maintenance and repair transformers. Those
problems can be solved by using the reliability method. This study aims
to determine the planning schedule transformer maintenance and
optimum amount of transformer maintenance costs. Based on test
results, schedule transformer maintenance planning based on
Generalized Pareto distribution after the transformer in operation for 9
months with an estimated cost of Rp 1.720.319 for scheduling monthly
duration, whereas the scheduling with the annual duration after the
transformer in operation for 1 year 6 months with an estimated cost of
Rp. 3.369.809
