Abstract
Energi listrik memegang peranan yang penting dalam ekonomi
suatu negara ataupun daerah. Jika kebutuhan listrik yang diminta
oleh pelanggan tidak diramalkan maka dapat mempengaruhi
kesiapan dari unit pembangkit untuk menyediakan pasokan
listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan karakteristik model
kebutuhan listrik yang mencakup nilai produksi dan jumlah
pelanggan listrik di Jawa Timur dengan estimasi Three Stage
Least Square (3SLS). Hasil karakteristik menunjukkan selama
periode 2003-2014 produksi energi listrik di Jawa Timur semakin
meningkat dan terus mengalami peningkatan baik dari segi
jumlah pelanggan, konsumsi, daya terpasang, dan produksi listrik
di Jawa Timur. Variabel produksi listrik, konsumsi listrik, dan daya
terpasang secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh variabel jumlah
pelanggan dan PDRB. Dan variabel jumlah pelanggan dipengaruhi oleh
variabel produksi listrik dan PDRB pada taraf signifikansi 10%. Secara
keseluruhan variabel PDRB menjadi variabel yang berpengaruh
terhadap model produksi listrik, konsumsi listrik, daya terpasang , dan
jumlah pelanggan.

Electrical energy has an important role in the economy of a
country or region. If the demand for electricity demanded by
customers are not predictable, it can affect the readiness of
generating units to provide power supply This study aims to get a
model that includes the value of the electricity needs of
production and the number of electricity customers in East Java
with an estimated Three Stage Least Square (3SLS). Results show
that during 2003-2014 the characteristics of electrical energy
production in East Java has increased and continues to increase
both in terms of number of customers, consumption, installed
power and electricity production in East Java. Variable power
production, power consumption, and the installed power is
significantly influenced by a variable number of customers and
the GDP. And variable, the number of customers affected by the
variable power production and the GDP at 10% significance
level. Overall the GDP variables into variables influencing the
model of electricity production, electricity consumption, installed
power, and the number of customers.
