Abstract
Industri tekstil merupakan salah satu industri prioritas nasional yang
memiliki prospektif untuk dikembangkan. Hal ini didukung oleh beberapa hal
yaitu industri ini mampu menyerap tenaga kerja sebanyak 3,8 juta tahun 2012,
serta kontribusi subsektor tekstil terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto Indonesia dari
sektor fashion menurut Departemen Perdagangan RI tahun 2008 sebesar 44,00%.
Industri fashion yang terus mengikuti tren memerlukan strategi pengembangan
produk baru (NPD) yang baik agar perusahaan dapat mempertahankan posisinya
di pasar. Kesuksesan proyek NPD saat ini dipandang sangat rendah dengan
tingkat kegagalan mencapai 80% sebelum produk selesai. Besarnya persentase
kegagalan karena adanya berbagai risiko yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan waktu
dan biaya, kesulitan penjadwalan pengembangan dan pendeknya siklus hidup
produk. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu manajemen risiko. Manajemen risiko pada
NPD masih belum banyak dibahas dan terbatas pada satu tahapan proses NPD,
tanpa mempertimbangkan dampak serta keefektifan dalam pengambilan
keputusan strategi mitigasi. Salah satu tahapan manajemen risiko adalah
bagaimana memitigasi risiko. Penelitian mengenai pencegahan (mitigasi) risiko
saat ini masih terbatas pada area research manajemen supply chain. Untuk itu
maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor risiko dan
menentukan strategi mitigasi risiko untuk risiko-risiko kritis. Penelitian ini
mengintegrasikan Failure Mode Effect and Critically Analysis (FMECA) dan
House Of Risk (HOR) pada seluruh tahapan proses NPD berdasarkan proses bisnis
NPD pada industri fashion serta menggunakan 3 case study. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 9 buah kejadian risiko kritis, 4 buah agen risiko
kritis global serta 18 buah strategi mitigasi risiko. Sehingga dapat dihasilkan
framework sistematik manajemen risiko yang lengkap dan komprehensif serta
dapat membantu manajer dalam membuat keputusan tentang strategi mitigasi
yang lebih efektif untuk tingkat kesuksesan produk yang lebih tinggi. ========== Textile industry is one of the national priority industry which has
prospective to be developed. This is because textile industry can absorp
employments of 3,8 millions people in 2012. It is also because its contribution to
GDP of Indonesia from the fashion sector according to the Ministry of Trade in
2008 around 44%. The success rate of NPD’s project is considered very low
because the failure rate is about 80% before the product is finished. The failure is
because of various risks such as increased time and costs, the difficulty of
scheduling development, the short product life cycles etc. It is needed a risk
management to fix it . Nowsday, risk management research about NPD is still
limited on a stage of NPD process. It also doesn’t consider the impact and
effectiveness in mitigation strategy decision making. One of the stages of risk
management is how to mitigate the risk. Research on prevention (mitigation) risk
is still limited on supply chain managemen area. The purpose of this study was to
analyze the risk factors and determine risk mitigation strategies for critical risks.
This study integrates Critically Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMECA) and
House Of Risk (HOR). In addition, this study involves all phases of the NPD
process based on the NPD business process in the fashion industry by using three
case studies. The results showed that there are 9 critical risk events, 4 global
critical risks agents and 18 risk mitigation strategies. The results can be used as a
systematic risk management framework which complete and comprehensive.
Moreover, the framework can be used to assist managers in making decisions
more effective mitigation strategies in order to get a success of higher product
level.
