Abstract

The motion of work piece that has relative slow characteristic on procces of
feeding 3 axis CNC Milling machine affect the synchronization of X and Y axis. The out
of sync between the two axis cause contour error. The materials of manufacturing that
has solid form cause the contour error cannot be fixed. This research propose Predictive
control with Modified Cross-Coupled Control to predict the contour error.The Predictive
Modified Cross-Coupled Control (PMCCC) method can reduce linear contour error
that’s compared with PI Modified Cross-Coupled Control method. However, for circular
contour error, the result of proposed method cause contour error worse. =========== Pergerakan meja kerja (work piece) yang relatif lambat pada proses feeding
mesin CNC Milling 3 aksis mempengaruhi sinkronisasi aksis X dan Y. Tidak sinkron
antara dua aksis ini menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan kontur. Material manufaktur
berbentuk zat padat mengakibatkan kesalahan kontur tidak dapat diulang lagi. Penelitian
ini mendesain kontrol Predictive dengan kombinasi Modified Cross-Coupled Control
untuk memprediksi kesalahan kontur. Metode Predictive Modified Cross-Coupled
Control (PMCCC) mampu mereduksi kesalahan kontur linear dibandingkan dengan
menggunakan metode PI Modified Cross-Coupled Control. Namun, untuk kesalahan
kontur circular metode Predictive Modified Cross-Coupled menghasilkan kesalahan
kontur yang lebih besar.
