Abstract
Timbal (Pb) merupakan logam berat yang dapat ditemukan di alam dan bersifat toksik terhadap lingkungan. Beberapa genera bakteri memiliki sifat resisten terhadap logam timbal. Azotobacter spp. yang diisolasi dari lahan Eco Urban Farming ITS dilaporkan memiliki resistensi terhadap HgCl2 sampai 5 mg/L. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan isolat Azotobacter yang resisten terhadap logam timbal, serta mengetahui kemampuan bioremoval Azotobacter terhadap logam timbale yang dipaparkan.
Isolat yang digunakan adalah Azotobacter spp. dengan kode isolat AIa, A1b, A2, A3, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, dan A10. Uji resistensi digunakan untuk seleksi isolat yang resisten terhadap PbCl2, dan range finding test digunakan untuk mendapatkan konsetrasi saat uji bioremoval. Pola pertumbuhan isolat uji dapat diketahui dengan kurva pertumbuhan Azotobacter spp. Uji bioremoval dilakukan pada (μ) jam usia bakteri dengan menggunakan mediun NB-PbCl2 sesuai konsentrasi pada range finding test yaitu 50, 100 dan 150 mg/L. Pengukuran konsentrasi PbCl2 menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) dengan λ 283.3 nm.
Hasil uji resistensi terhadap PbCl2, sembilan isolat yang resisten pada media Nutrient Agar yang mengandung PbCl2 sampai dengan 300 mg/L, isolat tersebut adalah A1a, A1b, A2, A3, A5, A6, A8,A9 dan A10. Isolat Azotobacter yang memiliki kemampuan tertinggi dalam bioremoval Pb2+ adalah isolat A1a
sebesar 8,825 mg/L dengan pemaparan 77,91 mg/L dan efisiensi bioremovlnya sebesar 11,33%.

Lead (Pb) is one of heavy metals that can found in nature. Lead is toxic for animals and human. Some genera of bacteria was known has lead’s persistant ability, such as Azotobacter. Azotobacter spp. Has been isolated from ITS Eco Urban Farming was reported have HgCl2 resistant ability until 5 mg/L. The purposes of this reserch are to get Azotobacter isolate who persistant by lead and to known bioremoval ability of Azotobacter from lead exposure.
Isolates of Azotobacter in this research was codeed by AIa, A1b, A2, A3, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, dan A10. Resistant test was used to select the isolate which resistant by PbCl2. Range finding test was used to find the concentration of PbCl2 at bioremoval test. Growth pettern of the isolates can be known by doing Azotobacter growth curve measurment. Bioremoval test has doing at (μ) hour of isolate growth with NB-PbCl2 was using Atomic Absorbtion Spectrophotometer (AAS) at 283.3 nm.
The result of PbCl2 resistant test there are nine isolates resistant in nutrient agar medium until 300 mg/L concentrate, they are A1a, A1b, A2, A3, A5, A6, A8, A9 and A10. Azotobacter isolate which batter bioremoval ability is A1a 8,825 mg/L lead exposure in 77,91 mg/L and the eficient for bioremoval ability is 11.33%.
