Abstract

Graphene merupakan material alotrofi karbon dengan
formasi lembaran dari bidang karbon dua dimensi dan ketebalan
satu atom. Dengan nilai konduktivitas listrik dan luas permukaan
aktif yang tinggi maka graphene dapat digunakan sebagai bahan
superkapasitor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa lama
waktu deposisi graphene pada nickel foam sebagai elektroda
superkapasitor. Grafit dioksidasi membentuk Grafit Oksida (GO)
dengan modifikasi metode Hummer. Setelah itu, GO direduksi
menjadi graphene. Nickel foam dicelupkan ke dalam larutan
graphene. Kemudian diultrasonikasi selama 30, 60, dan 90 menit
untuk mendeposisikan graphene pada nickel foam. Analisa
morfologi dan struktur graphene dilakukan dengan pengujian
SEM dan XRD. Pengujian Four Point Probe Test (FPP)
digunakan untuk mengukur konduktivitas listrik graphene.
Pengujian Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) dengan elektrolit 1M
Na2SO4 digunakan untuk mengukur kapasitansi superkapasitor
berbahan graphene dan menganalisa sifat kapasitifnya. Hasil
pengujian CV diperoleh nilai kapasitansi spesifik terbesar yaitu
155.44 F/g pada variasi waktu ultrasonikasi 90 menit.

Graphene is a material alotrofi sheet of carbon with the
formation of two-dimensional field of carbon and one atom. With
the value of the electrical conductivity and high active surface
area, the graphene can be used as supercapacitor material. This
study aims to analyze the length of time of deposition of graphene
on a nickel foam as a supercapacitor electrode. Graphite oxidized
graphite oxide (GO) with modification Hummer method. After
that, GO is reduced to graphene. Nickel foam is dipped into a
solution of graphene. Then done ultrasonication for 30, 60, and 90
minutes to deposit graphene on a nickel foam. Analysis of the
morphology and structure of graphene is done by testing SEM
and XRD. Testing Four Point Probe Test (FPP) is used to
measure the electrical conductivity of graphene. Testing Cyclic
voltammetry (CV) with 1M Na2SO4 electrolyte is used to
measure the capacitance of graphene-based supercapacitor and
analyzing capacitive properties. CV testing results obtained best
specific capacitance value is 155.44 F/g at variation the
ultrasonication time 90 minutes.
