Abstract
Penelitian sel surya mengalami peningkatan yang
signifikan, khususnya penelitian mengenai Dye Sensitized Solar
Cell (DSSC) dikarenakan fabrikasinya yang mudah dan murah
dibandingkan dengan sel surya konvensional. Penelitian ini
menggunakan material semikonduktor nanokristalin TiO2 (T)
yang dikompositkan dengan graphene (G) secara laminat yang
bervariasi sebagai fotoanoda DSSC. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk menganalisis pengaruh waktu ultrasonikasi pada sintesis
graphene dan susunan laminat graphene TiO2 terhadap unjuk
kerja DSSC menggunakan dye ekstrak ketan hitam (Oryza sativa
glutinosa) sebagai photosensitizer. Graphene disintesis
menggunakan metode modifikasi Hummer dengan variasi waktu
ultrasonikasi yang berbeda. Unjuk kerja DSSC diukur dengan
solar simulator dengan input daya sebesar 200 W/m2. Dari hasil
penelitian didapatkan variasi susunan laminat T/G/T
menggunakan graphene dengan waktu ultrasonikasi 90 menit
pada saat sintesisnya memberikan efisiensi terbaik sebesar
0.014%. Diketahui juga bahwa susunan T/G/T lebih baik
daripada T/G dan terdapat trend penurunan efisiensi DSSC
seiring dengan lama waktu ultrasonikasi sintesis graphene.

The research of solar cell these days has increased
significantly, particularly in the research of Dye Sensitized Solar
Cell. It is because of its convenient and low cost fabrication. In
this research, DSSC photoanodes was made from semiconductor
materials graphene-TiO2 which has been composited in laminate
with different arrangements. The research aims to analyze the
effect of ultrasonication time and laminate composite
arrangement on the performance of DSSC using black rice
(Oryza sativa glutinosa) as photosensitizer. Graphene was
synthesized using modified Hummer’s method with different
ultrasonication time. The performance was measured by solar
simulator with 200 W/m2 power input. The sample with T/G/T
composite laminate arrangement and 90 minutes ultrasonication
showed the highest efficiency (0.014%). It is found that T/G/T
arrangement showed a better performance than T/G and there is
a decreasing trend of the efficiency as the ultrasonication time
goes by in graphene synthesis.
