Abstract
Membran Polivinilidin Fluorida (PVDF)/Selulosa Asetat
°C selama 24 jam. Variasi dilakukan pada persentase berat PEG
yang ditambahkan, yaitu 0, 1%, 3%, dan 5%. Penambahan PEG
menyebabkan kenaikan porositas, fluks, dan penurunan rejeksi
membran. Hasil karakterisasi morfologi dengan Scanning
Electron Microscope (SEM), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM),
dan Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) menunjukkan adanya
peningkatan ukuran pori, persebaran pori, dan kekasaran
permukaan. Uji kekeruhan memperlihatkan hasil dengan jus apel
yang lebih 95,1% pada membran dengan penambahan PEG
sebanyak 1%.

Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)/Cellulose Acetate (CA)
blend membrane with polyethylene (PEG) addition of casting
solution were synthesized to determine its morphology and
application to reduce the brown colour of apple juice. The
membranes were prepared from blends of CA and PVDF,
dimethylacetamide (DMAc) as solvent, PEG as additive, to be
reacted as in 60 0C for 24 hours. The variation of PEG weight
percentage were 0, 1%, 3%, and 5%. The addition of PEG
increased porosity, fluks, and decreased membran rejection.
Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Atomic Force Microscope
(AFM), and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) were applied to
evaluate the morphology of membranes, which investigated
increasing of pore size, pore distribution, and surface roughness.
Clarification by membrane with 1% PEG was obtained 95,1%
clearer than the pure sample.
