Abstract
Sistem detector pada kereta api merupakan bagian yang sangat penting menjaga keselamatan penumpang dan barang karena dapat mendeteksi adanya kereta api yang lewat. Detektor kereta api di Indonesia umumnya menggunakan 2 jenis detektor yaitu track circuit dan axle counter. Kedua detektor tersebut terletak pada rel kereta api namun memiliki prinsip kerja yang berbeda. Track circuit merupakan detektor yang menggunakan prinsip kerja rangkaian listrik tertutup menggunakan relay sebagai penggerak. Pada track circuit ketika rel dalam keadaan patah secara otomatis track circuit tidak bekerja, sehingga kereta yang akan melintas tidak terdeteksi di pusat kendali. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut pada proyek akhir ini dibuat sebuah detector jenis track circuit. Detektor tersebut akan dilengkapi dengan sensor acs712 dan microkontoler yang berguna untuk mendeteksi rel patah. Dalam hasil pembuatan, sistem pada proyek akhir ini mampu mendeteksi putusnya arus listrik ketika rel kereta api dalam kondisi patah. Dari hasil pengujian sebanyak 10x percobaan, tingkat keberhasilan detector jenis track circuit yang dilengkapi dengan acs712 dalam memberikan informasi putusnya rel mencapai 100%

The detector system on the train is a very important part of maintaining the safety of passengers and goods because it can detect the passing of trains. Rail detectors in Indonesia generally use 2 types of detectors, namely track circuit and axle counter. The two detectors are located on the railroad tracks but have different working principles. Track circuit is a detector that uses the working principle of a closed electric circuit using a relay as a drive. On the track circuit when the rail is broken automatically the track circuit does not work, so the train that will pass is not detected in the control center. To overcome this problem in this final project, a track circuit type detector was made. The detector will be equipped with an acs712 sensor and micro-tolerance which is useful for detecting broken rails. In the manufacturing process, the system in this final project was able to detect a break in the electric current when the railroad was broken. From the test results of 10x experiments, the success rate of track circuit type detectors equipped with ACS712 in providing rail breakdown information reaches 100%
