Abstract

One of Indonesia's marine tourism potentials is the Savu Sea National Park. The Savu Sea has underwater beauty such as various types of corals, fish, including whales and dolphins. So, facilities are needed to support the optimization of tourism potential in the form of semi-submarine ships. The increase in global fuel consumption resulting the increase of air pollution including in the sea. Therefore, in this final project a tour boat in the form of electric semi-submarine will be designed as a means of enjoying the beauty of the underwater along with development costs, operational costs and ticket prices. By using a power analysis of several comparator ships and battery charging time, this is the basis for determining the amount of payload. After getting the appropriate comparison ship, we get the payload amount and the main size through the parent ship design method. Then with the main measurements carried out calculations of obstacles, power, battery capacity requirements, weight, stability, trim and hulls arising to design Line Plans, General Plans, Safety Plans, and 3D Models. Construction and operational costs become a reference in determining ticket prices. The electric semi-submarine design is expected to be an environmentally friendly tourism tool and help the development of the Savu Sea National Park. An electric semi-submarine design with a payload of 12 people and 3 crews obtained the main size of the ship L: 9.95 m, B: 2.8 m, H: 2.3 m, T: 1.5 m with a construction cost of Rp. 3.728.715.131 and operational costs Rp. 1.385.373.536 and ticket prices of Rp. 350.000 with the operational time of 25 days per month.
