Abstract

Beluntas (Pluchea indica)merupakan tumbuhan yang belum
dimanfaatkan. Beluntas adalah tumbuhan yang memiliki
kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder, antara lain tannin,
alkanoid, flavonoid, minyak atsiri dan saponin. Senyawa tersebut
dapat memberikan efek toksik terhadap hama.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan
besar konsentrasi ekstrak daun beluntas terhadap mortalitas dan
perkembangan S. litura F. Metode yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah metode maserasi dan leaf dipping pada
pakan dengan jumlah ulangan tiap konsentrasi sebanyak tiga
kali. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yakni Uji One Way
Anova dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% dan analiasa probit.
Parameter yang diamati adalah mortalitas dan pembentukan
pupa.
Ekstrak daun beluntas berpotensi sebagai insektisida nabati.
Konsentrasi ekstrak kontrol, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%,
70%, 80%, dan 90% pada perlakuan 24 jam mampu memperoleh
nilai LC50 sebesar 28% dan menunjukkan beda.

Beluntas (Pluchea indica) is a plant that has not been
utilized. Beluntas are plants that contain secondary metabolites,
such as tannins, alkanoid, flavonoids, essential oils and saponins.
The compound can give toxic effects against pests.
This research aims to determine the effect and concentration
of beluntas leaf extract on mortality and development of S. litura
F. The method used in this research is the maceration method and
leaf dipping on the feed with number of replications for each
concentration is three times. Methods of data analysis used is
One Way Anova test with 95% confidence level and probit
analysis. Parameters measured were mortality and pupa
formation.
Beluntas leaf extract has potential as a plant-based
insecticide. Control extract concentration, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%,
50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, and 90% at 24 hours treatment are able to
obtain LC50 values of 28%. So it can affect the development by
inhibiting the formation of the pupa.
