Abstract
Sebuah dinding geser pelat baja Steel Plate Shear Wall (SPSW) adalah
struktur yang menahan beban lateral elemen yang terdiri dari tiga komponen,
yaitu pelat/panel, balok yang disebut sebagai horizontal boundary elements (HBE)
dan kolom yang disebut vertical boudary elements (VBE). SPSW panel solid
membutuhkan kolom dan balok yang besar untuk menahan gaya axial dan momen
guling yang terjadi. SPSW dengan perforasi pada plat baja untuk mengurangi
kekuatan, memungkinkan penggunaan pelat tebal yang meningkatkan kekakuan
dan kapasitas disipasi energi tanpa meningkatkan ukuran dari balok dan kolom.
Metode yang akan diambil dalam penempatan lubang pada SPSW adalah
perforations along the plate diagonal. Pendekatan ini terdiri dari lubang
lingkaran, segi empat, segi enam berada pada sepanjang diagonal dari pelat baja.
Selisih hasil antara SPSW solid dan SPSW perforated ditinjau dari load
carrying capacity serta koefisien disipasi energi yang tidak begitu signifikan.
SPSW solid lebih unggul dalam hal load carrying capacity dan disipasi energi.
SPSW perforated mempunyai kelebihan lain dalam hal daktilitas sehingga
mampu memertahankan bentuknya selama dibebani siklik

A wall of sliding steel plate Shear Wall (SPSW) are structures that resist
lateral loads element consists of three components, namely plates / panels, beams
are referred to as horizontal boundary elements (HBE) and a column called
vertical boudary elements (VBE) , SPSW solid panels require large columns and
beams to withstand the axial force and moment bolsters that case. SPSW with
perforation of the steel plate to reduce the power, allowing the use of thicker
plates that increase stiffness and energy dissipation capacity without increasing
the size of beams and columns. The method that will be taken in the placement of
holes on SPSW are perforations along the diagonal plate. This approach consists
of a hole circles, rectangles, hexagons are on a long diagonal from steel plate.
The difference between the results of SPSW solid and perforated SPSW
terms of load carrying capacity and energy dissipation coefficient that is not so
significant. SPSW solid superior in terms of load carrying capacity and energy
dissipation. SPSW perforated have other advantages in terms of ductility so as to
maintain its shape during burdened cyclic.
