Abstract

Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teknik pengukuran kanal pita lebar yang diaplikasikan pada sistem propagasi indoor. Rancangan sistem menggunakan teknik sweep untuk menghasilkan bandwidth kanal pita lebar. Penggunakan teknik ini ditujukan pada lingkungan indoor yang mempunyai mobilitas yang rendah. Sistem ini menggunakan device yang software define radio yang disebut dengan universal software radio pheripheral (USRP) yang diprogram dengan menggunakan sistem modulasi orthogonal frekwensi division multiplexing (OFDM) dan bekerja pada frekwensi 2.190 GHz sampai dengan 2.290 GHz. Pada setiap pengiriman, masing masing sub carrier akan dikirimkan secara bertahap sebanyak 10 kali (10 MHz bandwidth) sehingga diperoleh karakteristik kanal sebesar 100 MHz dan resolusi delay 10 ns. Pada akhir penelitian akan ditunjukkan perbandingan respon impulse kanal VNA dan USRP. VNA berfungsi sebagai kanal kalibrasi sehingga bisa dibandingkan akurasi sistem pengukuran yang telah dilakukan. Pada akhir penelitian juga akan dibandingkan akurasi respon impulse kanal 10 MHz dan 100 MHz pada masing masing device.

This paper describes the measurement of wideband radio channel sounding techniques for indoor radio propagation. The system consists of multiple frequency band-switching scheme, which is able to extend the overall sounding bandwidth without changing operation bandwidth of the hardware. It is used for low mobility and high data rate communications. The system of the channel sounding is developed on a universal software radio peripheral (USRP) that employs an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal at 2.190-2.290 GHz. In each sounding cycling, ten sub band frequency (10 MHz bandwidth) are used to reach an equivalent measurement over a 100-MHz bandwidth, corresponding to 10 ns time delay resolution. At the end of the experiment it will be showed variation result of channel impulse response consist of radio channel accuration and resolution between VNA and USRP.
