Abstract

Kandungan minyak di Indonesia yang semakin menipis mendorong pemerintah untuk
menggunakan alternatif energi lain. Salah satu alternatifnya adalah gas alam.Di Indonesia,
cadangan gas alam masih melimpah. Namun salah satu permasalahan dalam penggunaan gas
alam sebagai bahan bakar alternatif adalah proses distribusinya. Kilang – kilang gas alam
letaknya berjauhan dengan tempat konsumen. Dengan menganalisis perbandingan angkutan
CNG dan LNG, diharapkan akan diketahui pengiriman yang optimal menggunakan CNG atau
LNG dan disesuaikan dengan jarak, kebutuhan dan permintaan. Untuk wilayah Pesanggaran,
Gilimanuk, Pemaron, Lombok, dan Kupang metode pengiriman yang efektif adalah
menggunakan LNG. Dengan total kebutuhan kapal 1 dengan payload 2.536 m3 sebanyak 2
unit, kapal 3 dengan payload 2.539 m3 sebanyak 1 unit, kapal 4 dengan payload 2.536 m3
sebanyak 2 unit dan kapal 5 dengan payload 2.538 m3 sebanyak 2 unit. Total cost dari
pengiriman dengan menggunakan LNG adalah sebesar 803 Milyar Rupiah

The content of oil in Indonesia are depleting encourage Governments to use other energy
alternatives. One alternative is natural gas. In Indonesia, the reserves of natural gas are still
abundant. But one of the problems in the use of natural gas as an alternative fuel is its
distribution process. The refinery – natural gas refinery lying far apart with a consumer. By
analyzing the comparison of CNG and LNG transport, expected to be known to the optimal
delivery using CNG or LNG and adjustable with distance, needs and requests. For the region
of Pemaron, Pesanggaran, Gilimanuk, Bali and Lombok, the shipping method that is effective
is to use LNG. With the total needs of the ship 1 with payload 2,536 m3 as much as 2 units, 3
ships with a payload 2,539 m3 as much as 1 unit, 4 ships with payload 2,536 m3 as much as 2
units and 5 with payload 2,538 m3 as much as 2 units. The total cost of shipping with the use
of LNG is of 803 Billion Rupiah
