Abstract

Dengue fever is a very dangerous endemic disease especially for those who is under 15 years old. This disease is spread by Ae.aegypti mosquito who brings dengue virus. In 2014, this disease approach 100.347 incidence with incident rate 39,8 of 100.000 resident. In 2013, Bojonegoro regency experience a very big number of dengue fever. Therefore, the writer want to create a model that can explain the case in Bojonegoro regency by using hierarchical mixture model method. Based on the analysis, the data is divided as 2 group that follow Poisson distribution. This method use 2 level of hierarchy and Poisson mixture. Characteristic of the data said to be different between the 2 groups. The result of estimation show that in the first group, there are 7 variables that significantly influence the number of dengue fever incidence. Those are percentage of household that free from mosquito larva, percentage of basis sanitation ownership, percentage of institution who assisted in the environmental health, ratio of village that get extraordinary case and handled less than 24 hours, the average of rainfall, population density, and percentage of household that applied health and clean life behavior. In other hand, in the second group, there is only one variable that significantly influence the number of dengue fever. The variable is percentage of poor resident.
