Abstract
Indonesia memiliki potensi sumber daya laut yang cukup melimpah,
diantaranya cumi-cumi, udang, lobster, ikan, rumput laut, kepiting, mutiara, kerang,
dan gurita. Dengan melihat potensi yang begitu besar tersebut, maka diperlukan
upaya untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengolah sumber daya laut yang ada secara tepat.
Permasalahan teknologi tangkap nelayan merupakan salah satu faktor utama
penyebab lemahnya daya saing bangsa di dunia perikanan. Salah satu komoditas
laut yang menjadi unggulan adalah lobster. Lobster memiliki nilai jual tinggi akan
tetapi eksplorasinya masih minim karena tidak adanya alat tangkap yang spesifik.
Wilayah Paciran, Lamongan dan Ujungpangkah, Gresik adalah salah satu wilayah
pesisir laut Jawa dengan komoditas tangkap lobster tersebut. Pada saat musim
lobster tiba, alat tangkap yang digunakan terbatas pada alat tangkap berupa bubu
dan jaring yang bukan merupakan alat tangkap lobster. Berdasarkan permasalahan
tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian untuk mendesain alat tangkap spesifik untuk
menangkap lobster yang sesuai dengan ukuran perahu kecil nelayan Paciran dan
Gresik. Proses penyelesaian masalah menggunakan tahapan studi literatur dan studi
lapangan. Studi literatur yang digunakan adalah perancangan produk secara
keseluruhan, TRIZ dan BMC. Sementara studi lapangan dilakukan di Gresik dan
Lamongan untuk mencari kebutuhan konsumen. Dalam pengumpulan data ini
menggunakan wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan pemberian
kuesioner ke nelayan. Perancangan alat tangkap lobster dilakukan dengan metode
Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskikh Zadatch (TRIZ) untuk menyelesaikan
permasalahan kontradiksi yang ada dan juga dilakukan pendekatan Business Model
Canvas (BMC) agar alat tangkap lobster i-LOCA (Innovative Lobster Catcher)
dapat dikomersialisasikan. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis terkait perancangan
produk, pengaruh keberadaan alat, usability alat dan prospek implementasi alat.
Alat yang telah dihasilkan kemudian dilakukan uji coba untuk mengetahui
pengaruh hasil tangkapan nelayan. Berdasarkan permasalahan dan penyelesaian
masalah yang dilakukan maka didapatkan alat tangkap lobster yang inovatif yaitu
i-LOCA. i-LOCA ini memiliki alat deteksi atau penarik lobster dengan kapasitasviii
tangkap yang optimal sehingga mampu meningkatkan pendapatan nelayan. iLOCA ini layak untuk diimplementasikan karena memiliki tingkat efisiensi
keuntungan sebesar 27% dengan B/C ratio sebesar 3,82. Dalam penelitian ini,
didapatkan alat tangkap lobster spesifik yang secara prinsip telah memenuhi kriteria
alat tangkap pasif dan mampu menangkap lobster secara spesifik

Indonesia has the potential of marine resources are relatively abundant,
such as squid, shrimp, lobster, fish, seaweed, crabs, pearls, mussels, and octopus.
By looking at the potential is so great that, efforts are needed to explore and
cultivate the existing marine resources appropriately. The problems of fishermen
catching technology is one of the main factors causing the lack of competitiveness
of nations in the world's fisheries. One is a leading marine commodity is lobster.
Lobster has a high sales value but exploration is still minimal due to the absence of
specific fishing gear. Paciran, Lamongan and Ujungpangkah, Gresik are the coastal
areas in Java Sea with the lobster fishing commodities. At the time of the lobster
season arrives, limited fishing gear used in fishing gear such as fish traps and nets
that are not a lobster fishing gear. Based on these problems, then do research to
design a specific fishing gear to catch lobster in accordance with the size of small
fishing boats Paciran and Gresik. Use the problem-solving process stages : literature
studies and field studies. The study of literature used is overall product design,
TRIZ and BMC. While field studies conducted in Gresik and Lamongan to seek
consumer needs. In this data collection using interviews, Focus Group Discussion
(FGD) and giving questionnaires to fishermen. The design of lobster fishing gear
done by Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskikh Zadatch (TRIZ) to resolve the
contradiction existing problems and also be approached Business Model Canvas
(BMC) method that lobster fishing gear i-LOCA (Innovative Lobster Catcher) can
be commercialized. Further analysis is related to the design of the product, the effect
of the presence of tools, usability tools and prospects of implementation tools. Tools
that have been subsequently conducted trials to determine the effect of the catch.
Based on the problems and problem solving is done then got innovative lobster
catcher, i-LOCA. i-LOCA has detection equipment or towing lobster with optimum
fishing capacity so as to increase the income of fishermen. i-LOCA is feasible to be
implemented due to have an efficiency gain of 27% with B / C ratio of 3.82. In this
study, it was found that a specific lobster fishing gear in principle meets the criteria
of passive fishing gear and were able to catch lobster specifically
