Abstract
PT. Indobatt Industri Permai (Indobatt) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi aki, baik aki motor maupun mobil. Proses produksi tersebut dimulai dari proses casting, pasting, formation, inert gas, cutting, stacking dan assembling. Berdasarkan produksi aki tahun 2015, produktivitas dari perusahaan ini masih rendah. Dengan bertambahnya order, perusahaan harus mampu memenuhi permintaan yang ada. Ketimpangan antara kondisi perusahaan dan permintaan yang ada menjadi masalah bagi Indobatt. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang faktor – faktor penyebab rendahnya produktivitas. Usulan ini bertujuan untuk penanggulangan masalah tersebut. Penelitian dalam tugas akhir ini didahului dengan identifikasi seluruh aliran produksi mulai dari pelanggan datang sampai produk jadi yang dapat digambarkan dengan Big Picture Mapping. Tahap selanjutnya adalah identifikasi waste yang terdapat di beberapa area. Lalu dilakukan penelusuran akar penyebab (root cause) terjadinya waste. Mengetahui akar masalah yang terjadi membuat arah untuk improve yang akan dilakukan menjadi lebih jelas. Proses penyelesaian permasalahan yang ada menggunakan metode lean six sigma

PT. Indobatt Industry Permai (Indobatt) is a company that is engaged in the production of batteries, either motorcycle or car battery. The production process starts from the process of casting, pasting, formation, inert gas, cutting, stacking and assembling. Based on battery production in 2015, the productivity of the company is still low. With the increasing orders, the company should be able to meet the existing demand. Inequality between the company productivity and demand became a problem for Indobatt. To solve this problem, it is necessary to do research on the factors that causing low productivity. Thus this proposals was made as an efforts to solve the problem. This research was preceded by the identification of the entire production flow from the customer to finished product that can be described with the Big Picture Mapping. The next stage is the identification of waste contained in several areas. Then doing a search root cause of waste. Knowing the root of the problem that occurred helps in creating a distincts sort of improve needed. The process for resolving the existing problems is using lean six sigma
