Abstract
Perkembangan Toko Modern di suatu wilayah mengakibatkan peningkatan kompeisi Toko Modern dengan Pasar Tradisional ataupun dengan Toko Modern lain. Kecamatan Kanigoro berlokasi di pusat Kabupaten Blitar serta berdekatan dengan wilayah Kota Blitar sehingga menjadikan kecamatan ini mengalami kemajuan yang lebih pesat dibandingkan wilayah kecamatan lainnya di Kabupaten Blitar termasuk dalam bidang bisnis Toko Modern yang bertambah tiap tahunnya.
Untuk menentukan kesesuaian area untuk mendirikan Toko Modern tanpa mengganggu kegiatan ekonomi di Toko Modern maka diperlukan analisis untuk mengetahui peluang usaha untuk tiap area di Kecamatan Kanigoro dengan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode scoring, yaitu pemberian skor untuk tiap kriteria parameter untuk menganalisis tingkat kesesuaian dan untuk menentukan lokasi Toko Modern.. Data parameter yang digunakan antara lain adalah kepadatan penduduk, jenis penggunaan lahan, akses jalan utama, fasilitas bank atau ATM, serta jarak dengan Toko Modern atau Toko Modern terdekat. Data parameter tersebut kemudian diolah dan dilakukan overlay dan scoring.
Setelah dilakukan pengolahan dari parameter yang ada maka akan dihasilkan peta yang menggambarkan tingkat potensi atau kesesuaian untuk lokasi pendirian Toko Modern dengan nilai 1-3 dengan ketelitian analisis 100 m x 100 m yang berbentuk grid area. Semakin tinggi nilainya maka semakin tinggi tingkat kesesuaiannya begitu pula sebaliknya. Peta digambarkan dengan skala 1:40.000. Dari hasil akhir tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa area yang memiliki tingkat kesesuaian tinggi banyak ditemukan di Desa Kanigoro, Kecamatan Kanigoro. Tingkat kesesuaian yang tinggi di desa ini dikarenakan adanya kemudahan akses jalan, banyak ditemukan fasilitas bank/ATM dan sebagian besar terdiri dari kawasan pemukiman penduduk. Hal ini sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan Desa Kanigoro yang tinggi yaitu kategori Hierarki I. Korelasi antara IPD (Indeks Pembangunan Desa) dengan total area dengan tingkat kesesuaian tinggi per desa sebesar 0,925 atau memiliki keterkaitan berbanding lurus yang kuat. Sedangkan korelasi antara IPD dengan total area dengan tingkat kesesuaian rendah per desa sebesar -0,261 atau memiliki keterkaitan berbanding terbalik yang lemah.

The rapid development of Modern Stores in an region causes increasingly fierce business competition between Modern Stores and Traditional Markets and among Modern Store. Kanigoro is one of the districts in Blitar Regency, located in the center of Blitar Regency and near to the Blitar City causing the development of the area improves faster than other sub-districts in Blitar, including in economic.
To determine the area suitability for establishing a Modern Store without interrupting economic activities in the Traditional Market, an analysis is needed. Geographic Information System (GIS) is applied to determine the business opportunities for each village in the Kanigoro District. The research uses scoring method, provides a score for each parameter criteria to analyze the level of suitability and to determine a Modern Store location. The parameters used include population density, types of land use, access to main roads, bank or Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) facilities, distance to traditional markets or the nearest modern store. The data of parameters are then processed, overlaid, and scored.
Map is produced to illustrate the level of potential suitability for the location of the establishment of a modern store, with a value of 1-3 every 100 m x 100 m of the grid area. The higher the value, the higher the level potential suitability. The map is drawn on a scale of 1: 35.000. Based on this final result, it can be concluded that the region with high degree of suitability is found in Kanigoro Village, Kanigoro District. The high level of suitability in this village is due to the ease of access to the road, many bank/ATM facilities are found and mostly consisting of residential areas. This is in line with the high level of development in Kanigoro Village that has a category of Hierarchy I. The correlation between IPD (Village Development Index) and the total area with a high level of suitability per village is 0.925 or has a strong linear correlation. While the correlation between IPD and the total area with a low level of suitability per village was -0.261 or had a weak inversely relation.
