Abstract

The Cepu Block is an oil and gas exploitation area located in Blora Regency, Central Java and Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. Oil and gas exploitation is carried out by drilling wells over Blora Regency through Bojonegoro Regency so that this block is staying up to become Indonesia’s largest oil production, defeating Rokan Blok oil production in Riau. Based on these conditions, it is necessary to investigate the possibility of land subsidence occurring in this region.
The purpose of this research is to estimate the land subsidence using the PS-InSAR method. The PS-InSAR method is chosen to be used because it can measure small movements in an area over time with millimeters DEM accuracy. The data used in this research are ALOS-PALSAR satellite imagery with acquisition range from 2007 to 2009 and Sentinel-1A satellite imagery with acquisition range from 2014 to 2019. The PS-InSAR processing is done using SarProz.
The result of SarProz processing shows deformation in the form of land subsidence in almost all the blocks, except for Block D. While deformation in the form of uplift occurred in the eastern part of the Block E. The largest land subsidence rate occurred in Block A with an average of -27.75 mm/year. An evaluation of the geological conditions was also carried out to support the results of the processing.
