Abstract
Absensi merupakan salah satu cara yang dilakukan sekolah untuk memastikan kehadiran siswa-siswanya dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Sistem absensi manual adalah absensi yang dilakukan dengan menuliskan tanda kehadiran pada form kertas yang ditulis manual oleh orang yang melakukan absensi. SMPI AlAzhar 13 Surabaya menggunakan sistem absensi manual dalam proses belajar mengajarnya. Penggunaan sistem absensi manual menyebabkan pihak tata usaha kesulitan dalam melakukan rekapitulasi data absensi. Selain itu, banyaknya penggunaan kertas sebagai form absensi menyebabkan sekolah harus mengeluarkan biaya yang tidak murah agar sistem absensi dapat terus berjalan. Karena mahalnya biaya yang dikeluarkan serta lamanya waktu rekapitulasinya dalam sistem absensi manual, akhirnya SMPI Al-Azhar 13 Surabaya dibuatkan aplikasi absensi online berbasis web yang memanfaatkan teknologi qr-code untuk melakukan absensi siswa. Aplikasi tersebut dapat membantu rekapitulasi data-data absensi dengan lebih cepat dan tepat. Permasalahannya adalah aplikasi absensi online tersebut masih belum terimplementasi secara penuh pada SMPI Al-Azhar 13 Surabaya, sehingga aplikasi yang telah dibuat menjadi tidak bermanfaat karena tidak digunakan oleh SMPI Al-Azhar 13 Surabaya. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan proses implementasi aplikasi absensi online tersebut agar aplikasi yang telah dibuat dapat bermanfaat bagi SMPI AL-Azhar 13 Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan implementasi aplikasi absensi online kepada SMPI AlAzhar 13 Surabaya menggunakan metode Action Research. Metode Action Research digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab aplikasi absensi online tidak terimplementasi sekaligus menentukan rencana intervensi yang akan dilakukan selama proses implementasi. Pada akhir dari penelitian, aplikasi absensi online dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik dan sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan sekolah. Adanya fitur untuk mendownload rekap hasil absensi siswa dinilai sangat membantu dalam proses rekap absensi siswa yang dilakukan SMPI Al-Azhar 13 Surabaya.

Attendance is one way that schools do to ensure the presence of their students in the teaching and learning process at school. Manual attendance system is attendance done by writing sign on paper forms that are written manually by the person making the attendance. Al-Azhar 13 Surabaya Islamic Junior High School uses a manual attendance system in the teaching and learning process. The use of a manual attendance system makes it difficult for the administration to do attendance data recapitulation. In addition, the use of paper as a form of attendance causes schools to incur costs that are not cheap so that the attendance system can continue to run. Because of the high costs incurred and the length of recapitulation time in the manual attendance system, finally AlAzhar 13 Surabaya Islamic Junior High School was made a webbased online attendance application that utilizes qr-code technology to conduct student attendance. The application can help attendance data recapitulation more quickly and precisely. The problem is that the online attendance application is still not fully implemented in Al-Azhar 13 Surabaya Islamic Junior High School, so the application has been made useless because it is not used by Al-Azhar 13 Surabaya Islamic Junior High School. Therefore, the process of implementing the online attendance application is needed so that the application that has been made can be useful for AL-Azhar 13 Surabaya Islamic Junior High School. This study aims to implement an online attendance application for Al-Azhar 13 Surabaya Islamic Junior High School using Action Research methods. The Action Research method is used to identify the causes of online absentee applications not being implemented while determining the intervention plan that will be carried out during the implementation process. At the end of the study, the online attendance application can be implemented properly and is in accordance with the needs of the school. The feature to download student absentee recap is considered very helpful in the process of student absentee recap that is done by Al-Azhar 13 Surabaya Islamic Junior High School.
