Abstract
Indonesia diprediksi akan menghadapi bonus demografi di tahun 2020 hingga 2035. Hal ini dapat menjadi peluang maupun menjadi sebuah tantangan bagi Indonesia. Salah satu respon strategis yang dapat dilakukan adalah mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten melalui sistem pendidikan.
Objek rancang yang dihasilkan berupa Akademi Komunitas dengan konsep Long – Life Education. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur perilaku, perancang berusaha menghadirkan fasilitas pendidikan yang dapat menjadi ruang produktif dalam menekuni industry kreatif olahan kayu. Melalui pendalaman socio-cultural dan pemahaman karakter antar generasi, ruang yang dihasilkan diharapkan mampu menjadi tempat berinteraksi dan diskusi optimal bagi seluruh penggunanya.
Tak hanya itu, keberadaan bangunan ini diharapkan mampu menjadi daya tarik kawasan sehingga mampu mengembalikan citra kawasan sebagai sentra kerajinan kayu jati di wilayah tersebut.

Indonesia is predicted to face demographic bonuses from 2020 to 2035. This can be an opportunity or a challenge for Indonesia. Strategic response that can be done is to prepare competent human resources through the education system, Community Academy with the concept of Long-Life Education. By using a behavioral architecture approach, the designer seeks to present educational facilities that can be productive space in pursuing a creative wood processing industry. Through socio-cultural and characters between generations aspect, the space is expected to be an optimal place for interaction.
This building is also expected to be an iconic area that it can restore the image of the area as a center of teak wood crafts in the region.
