Abstract

Laut Jawa merupakan salah satu perairan di Indonesia dengan lalu lintas terpadat. Akan tetapi,
TNI AL memperkirakan bahwa masih banyak ranjau aktif peninggalan Perang Dunia II yang
terdapat di Laut Jawa. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan potensi bahaya bagi kapal yang melintas di
perairan tersebut. Maka dari itu, perlu dilakukan operasi sapu ranjau di wilayah Laut Jawa untuk
menciptakan kondisi perairan yang aman. Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk merancang
kapal sapu ranjau dengan operational requirement berupa kecepatan dinas, kecepatan
penyapuan ranjau, rute operasi, dan payload. Kapal memiliki kecepatan dinas 14 knot dan
kecepatan penyapuan ranjau 4 knot. Rute operasi kapal meliputi perairan Laut Jawa bagian
timur hingga bagian barat, dengan basis operasi berada di Pangkalan Komando Armada II TNI
AL, TBBM Tuban, TBBM Semarang, Dermaga Pelabuhan Cirebon, dan Pangkalan Komando
Armada I TNI AL. Payload pada kapal berupa amunisi, persenjataan, perlengkapan menyelam,
kru sapu ranjau, TNT, dan Shrimp ROV. Penentuan ukuran utama kapal dilakukan dengan
Geosim Procedure, dengan ukuran utama yang didapatkan adalah LPP = 76,2 m, B = 12,972 m,
H = 6,725 m, dan T = 3,5 m. Perhitungan hambatan kapal dilakukan dengan Metode Holtrop
dan didapatkan nilai hambatan sebesar 110,1 kN. Perhitungan freeboard minimum dilakukan
dengan metode ICLL dan didapatkan nilai freeboard minimum sebesar 1084,606 mm serta nilai
bowheight minimum sebesar 3215,105 mm. Freeboard sesungguhnya yang dirancang pada
kapal adalah 3,225 m. Perhitungan trim dilakukan berdasarkan SOLAS 2009, di mana trim
tidak boleh melebihi ±0,388 m pada 6 loadcase. Perhitungan stabilitas dilakukan dengan teori
Sarchin & Goldberg. Seluruh perhitungan tersebut telah memenuhi persyaratan yang
ditentukan. Biaya pembangunan kapal adalah Rp 123.383.206.494. Harapannya adalah dengan
adanya kapal sapu ranjau yang beroperasi menyapu ranjau laut di perairan utara Pulau Jawa,
kapal yang beroperasi di perairan utara Pulau Jawa bisa melewati Laut Jawa dengan aman tanpa
ada ancaman dari ranjau laut yang masih tertanam di perairan utara Pulau Jawa.

Java Sea is one of the seas with the heaviest traffic in Indonesia. However, the Indonesian Navy
predicts that active sea mines that was part of World War II’s remains still exist within the
waters. This could be potentionally destructive to all the vessels passing by. Thus, a
minesweeper vessel must be made to keep the vessels and the waters safe. The objective of this
thesis is to design a minesweeper vessel with an operational requirement that consists of service
speed, minesweeping speed, operation route and payload. The designed vessel will have a
service speed of 14 knots and a minesweeping vessel of 4 knots. The route will start from the
very east of Java Sea and will carry along up to the furthest west. The base of the designed
vessel throughout this operation would be at Naval Base of the Second Fleet, TBBM Tuban,
TBBM Semarang, Cirebon Port, and Naval Base of the First Fleet in that respective order. The
payload of the vessel consists of ammunition, combat systems, diving equipments,
minesweeping crew, TNT, and a shrimp ROV. The main dimension of the designed vessel was
obtained through Geosim Procedure which resulted a Lpp of 76,2 m, Breadth of 12,972 m,
Height of 6,725 m, and Draught of 3,5 m. The resistance of the designed vessel was obtained
with Holtrop Method which resulted 110,1 kN. The calculation of freeboard was btained with
ICLL’s regulation, in which the minimum freeboard would be 1084,606 mm and the minimum
bow height would be 3215,105 mm. Though, the designed minesweeping vessel has a freeboard
of 3225 mm. The trim calculations are done based on SOLAS 2009, where the trim must not
exceed ±0,388 m for 6 loadcases. The stability calculations are done with Sarchin&Goldberg’s
method. The approximate building cost of the designed ship is Rp. 89.696.344.195,12,-. It is
hoped that with the designed minesweeping vessel, the vessels that sails through Java Sea can
soar without any chance of explosion from the active sea mines in the depths of Java Sea.
