Abstract
Penyakit jantung dan pembuluh darah (kardiovaskular), terutama hipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan penyebab kematian nomor satu di dunia. Di Indonesia, penyebab kematian nomor satu adalah stroke, kemudian diikuti oleh jantung koroner yang keduanya masih merupakan penyakit kardiovaskuler. DKI Jakarta memiliki prevalensi penyakit kardiovaskuler yang cukup tinggi. Maka dari itu muncullah kebutuhan akan rumah sakit khusus jantung.
Healing environment adalah desain arsitektur yang mampu mempercepat penyembuhan alami pada manusia dengan menerapkan strategi-strategi yang sudah teruji. Dengan menerapkan strategi tersebut pada rumah sakit khusus jantung maka pasien akan pulih lebih cepat.

Cardiovascular illness, especially hypertension, is the number one cause of death from illness in the world. In Indonesia, stroke is the number one, followed by coronary artery disease in which both are still types of cardiovascular illness. DKI Jakarta has a high prevalence of cardiovascular illness in Indonesia, in fifth place for the highest prevalence of cardiovascular illness and hypertension. Therefore, there is a need of architecture that can provide a place to activities that can overcome this illness. Because of this, there is a need for a cardiovascular hospital.
Healing environment is an architecture design that triggers the natural healing on humans by applying various strategies that is already tested. By applying these strategies, the patients at the cardiovascular hospital will heal faster.
