Abstract

Pembayaran uang elektronik untuk transportasi umum biasanya menggunakan kartu/tag sebagai media transaksi. Sistem teresebut dapat disebut dengan sistem CICO (Check-In - Check Out). Sistem CICO akan memaksa pemilik kartu/tag untuk melakukan sebuah tindakan khusus untuk mengeluarkan ataupun memasukkan kartu untuk dipindai oleh alat pemindai. Sehingga, selain tidak efisien dalam segi waktu, sistem CICO tidak ramah guna bagi beberapa golongan penumpang seperti lansia, balita, dan disabilitas. Selain itu, untuk kenyamanan perjalanan penumpang saat menggunakan trasnportasi umum penumpang perlu untuk mengetahui jumlah penumpang lain yang sedang berada di dalam kendaraan umum. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini akan membuat sistem transportasi umum dengan menggunakan perangkat berbasis Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sebagai perangkat transmitter yang akan dibawa oleh setiap penumpang dengan menerapkan sistem Be-In - Be-Out
(BIBO). Dengan ini, penumpang tidak perlu lagi melakukan tindakan khusus saat naik atau turun transportasi umum dan penumpang dapat mengetahui kondisi jumlah penumpang lainnya dengan pasti sebelum penumpang menaiki transportasi umum. Pengimplementasian sistem pada penelitian ini membuahkan hasil yang positif, tetapi diperlukan pengondisian khusus agar antar kendaraan tidak
saling berdekatan. Pengondisian tersebut perlu dilakukan karena jangkauan pengiriman data BLE secara broadcast yang cukup luas (sampai dengan 20 meter) dan rata - rata waktu pengunggahan data antara perangkat receiver dan server sebesar 4.746 detik.

The Electronic money payment system for public transport payments is increasingly in demand by many people. Electronic Money payments for public transport, usually using the card/tag as a transaction medium. The system can be called a CICO (Check-In – Check Out) system. The CICO system will force the cardholder/tag to perform a special action to eject or insert the card to be scanned by the scanner. So, besides being inefficient in terms of time, the CICO system is unfriendly for some passengers such as elderly, toddler, and disability. In addition, for the convenience of passenger travel when using the general transportation, passengers need to know the number of other passengers who are in public transportation. Therefore, this research will make the public transportation system using a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) based device as the broadcast transmitter device to be carried by each passenger by implementing the Be-In – BeOut (BIBO) system. With this, passengers no longer need to perform special actions when boarding or dropping public transportation and passengers can know the condition of the other passengers with certainty before the passengers ride public transport.The implementation of the system in this study resulted in positive results, but special conditioning is needed for the inter-vehicle not adjacent to each other. Such conditioning is necessary due to the wide broadcast data transmission range of BLE (up to 20 meters) and the average upload time between receiver devices and servers is 4,746 seconds.
