Abstract
Desa Wonocolo termasuk salah satu desa di Kabupaten Bojonegoro yang memiliki potensi pariwisata berbasis geologi yang sedang dikembangkan yaitu Geopark Wonocolo atau lebih dikenal dengan nama Teksas Wonocolo. Namun, dalam pengembangan pariwisata di Desa Wonocolo sendiri masih terdapat masalah salah satunya yaitu dari segi partisipasi masyarakat lokal yang masih belum meningkat.
Hal ini dikarenakan masyarakat rata-rata masih memilih menambang minyak sebagai mata pencaharian utama mereka dan masyarakat masih belum melihat peluang bahwa sektor pariwisata dapat menjadi salah satu mata pencaharian yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan ekonomi. Partisipasi masyarakat yang sudah terbentuk perlu untuk ditingkatkan, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun strategi peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam rangka pengembangan pariwisata geotourism di Desa Wonocolo, Kabupaten Bojonegoro.
Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan. Tahapan yang pertama yaitu mengidentifikasi karaktertistik partisipasi masyarakat dengan menggunakan teknik analisis konten dari hasil in-depth-interview stakeholder terpilih. Tahap kedua yaitu identifikasi bentuk dan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan pariwisata, dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Tahap terakhir yaitu menyusun strategi peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam rangka pengembangan pariwisata di Desa Wonocolo disusun dengan teknik analisis validasi triangulasi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat yang dapat diaplikasikan di Desa Wonocolo antara lain (1) Mengadakan kegiatan edukasi secara mandiri (geo-seminar, pelatihan konservasi lingkungan, dan geo-event) berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat lokal dalam pengembangan pariwisata geowisata (inisiasi dari pokdarwis) untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat lokal berupa penambang terhadap pengembangan geowisata (2) Mengadakan pembuatan papan informasi di area wisata tambang terkait proses penambangan sumur tua maupun peta lokasi tambang yang berasal dari ide maupun dana masyarakat yang nantinya dapat berguna sebagai sarana edukasi bagi wisatawan (3) Mempertahankan peran masyarakat lokal dalam pengembangan ekonomi kreatif melalui proses pembuatan hingga pemasaran sego gulung sebagai oleh-oleh khas Wonocolo yang sesuai dengan komponen geowisata yaitu partisipasi masyarakat.

The village of Wonocolo is one of the villages in Bojonegoro regency that has the potential of geological-based tourism that is being developed that is Geopark Wonocolo or better known as Teksas Wonocolo. However, in the development of tourism in the village of Wonocolo itself there is still a problem that is in terms of local community participation is still not increasing. This is because the average people still choose to mine oil as their main livelihood and people still do not see the opportunity that the tourism sector can become one of the potential livelihoods to improve the economy. The participation of community that has been established need to be improved, so that the research aims to develop a strategy of increasing community participation in the development of tourism geotourism in the village of Wonocolo, Bojonegoro regency.
The study was conducted through three phases. The first stage is to identify the character of the community participation by using the content analysis techniques from the results in-depth-interview of selected stakeholders. The second phase is the identification of the form and the level of community participation in tourism development, using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The last phase is to develop a strategy to enhancement community participation in the framework of tourism development in Wonocolo village compiled with triangulation validation analysis technique.
The results of this research show that the community participation enhancement strategies in the development of geoutourism tourism in wonocolo village, bojonegoro regency among others (1) Conduct education activities independently (GEO-seminar, environmental conservation Training, and geo-events) based on the needs of local people in the development of tourism geotourism (initiation of Pokdarwis) to increase awareness of local communities in the form of miners to geotourism Development (2) Conduct information boards in the area of mining tourism related to the mining process of old wells as well as maps of mine sites derived from ideas and Community funds that can Educational means for tourists (3) to maintain the role of local communities in the development of creative economy through the process of making up to marketing Sego rolls as a special souvenir Wonocolo in accordance with the Geotourism component that is community participation.
