Abstract

The 35,000 MW electricity program is a government project to create energy independence by using a renewable energy optimally. Until now, there are 12,659 underdeveloped villages in indonesia that do not yet have access to electricity from the State Electricity Company (PLN) network. The eastern part of Indonesia, especially Papua, has low electrification rates. There are so many factors that make this condition happen, including the geographical factors of Papua which difficult to reach. For example West Mikika which has no land access at all. To meet electricity supply, Indonesia needs to have water transportation that can supply electricity to the region. Therefore it is necessary to develop new ships by making Electric Supply Ship Design in accordance with the geographical and economic conditions of the community for the needs of the region. The expected outcome of making this model is to be used in electricity supply activities in areas that are difficult or have no access to land at all. So that, can help increase electrification in the area. The ship design process starts from the study of literature and the determination of the electrical power needed using data obtained from conditions in the field. The data obtained are then processed to produce the required electrical power value, then a power of 5962 KW is obtained. Followed by the selection of powerbank based on the amount of power and the amount that is efficient to be loaded on the ship, so that the power needed can be supported by as many as 18 powerbanks with 400Kva power. The initial main size of the SPCB vessel is determined by adjusting the laying or structuring of the power bank on the deck of the ship, determining the minimum length of the forecastle, poop, and superstructure. After that a technical calculation is carried out in the form of weight, displacement, trim, freeboard, and stability. The main measurements obtained were Lpp = 39.00 m, B = 7.50 m, H = 3.50 m, and T = 1.70 m. From this data, Lines Plans, General Arrangements and 3D models are made. Then an economic analysis is carried out which includes the calculation of development costs (investment), operational costs, and investment feasibility analysis.
