Abstract
Kanker tiroid adalah salah satu dari beberapa kanker yang telah meningkat dalam beberapa dekade terakhir. Di Indonesia, kanker tiroid menempati peringkat ke-9 dari 10 kanker terbanyak atau sebesar 4,43%. Kanker tiroid ditemukan 8 kasus per 100.000 penduduk dengan kematian hampir 50%, kasus baru tiap tahunnya yaitu 3 kasus per 100.000 penduduk per tahun di Indonesia. Dimana angka kejadiannya cenderung semakin meningkat dengan kecenderungan usia yang semakin muda. Terdapat empat klasifikasi tipe kanker tiroid berdasarkan tingkat stadiumnya yaitu stadium I, II, III, dan stadium IV. Terdapat beberapa faktor risiko yang dapat menyebabkan kanker tiroid, antara lain riwayat kanker dalam keluarga, obesitas, usia, jenis kelamin, genetik, dan paparan radiasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengaplikasikan metode regresi logistik ordinal pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi stadium kanker tiroid. Data yang digunakan adalah data rekam medis pasien kanker tiroid di Rumah Sakit Onkologi pada bulan Januari 2008 hingga Februari 2019 yang terdiri dari 141 pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel usia dan riwayat kanker pada keluarga pasien kanker tiroid berpengaruh signifikan terhadap stadium kanker tiroid. Lebih lanjut, variabel usia dalam hal ini juga diidentifikasi sebagai confounding variabel.

Thyroid cancer is one of the few cancers that has increased in recent decades. In Indonesia, thyroid cancer was ranked 9th out of 10 most cancers or 4,43%. Thyroid cancer is found 8 cases per 100,000 population with almost 50% death, new cases each year which is 3 cases per 100.000 population per year in Indonesia. Where the number of events tends to increase with the tendency of a younger age. There are four classifications of type of thyroid cancer based on the level of the stage, namely stage I, II, III, and stage IV. There are several risk factors that can cause thyroid cancer, including family history of cancer, obesity, age, sex, genetic, and radiation exposure. The purpose of this study was to apply the ordinal logistic regression method to the factors that influence the stage of thyroid cancer. The data used are medical records of thyroid cancer patients at the Oncology Hospital in January 2008 to February 2019 which consisted of 141 patients. The results in this study indicate that the age and cancer history variables in the family of thyroid cancer patients have a significant effect on the stage of thyroid cancer. Furthermore, the age variable in this case is also identified as a confounding variable.
