Abstract
Salah satu cita-cita dari lulus sekolah adalah bekerja. Dua hal dari sebagian
besar yang diperlukan adalah sikap mandiri dan penguasaan teknologi. Dan
salah satu dari kebutuhan teknologi saat ini adalah teknologi informasi,
khususnya penguasaan internet. Lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas Luar Biasa
Tunarungu (SMALB-B) juga ingin membuktikan bahwa lulusan sekolah mereka
juga dapat bekerja. Faktor kemandirian dan penguasaan pemanfaatan internet
sangat dibutuhan bagi para lulusan. Dari di tiga sekolah yang ada di Kabupaten
Sidoarjo (SMALB-B Gedangan, SMALB-B Dharma Wanita dan SMALB-B Putra
Mandiri) terdapat lulusan sebanyak 57. Sampling di ambil sebanyak 50 dengan
rincian 44 siswa telah bekerja (88%), dan 6 belum bekerja (12%). Kemandirian
siswa SMALB-B 68% memiliki skor tinggi (69-81), 20% memiliki skor
kemandirian sedang (55-68), 12% memiliki skor kemandirian rendah (41-54).
serta tidak ada siswa yang memiliki skor kemandirian antara 27-40. Sedangkan
sampling kemampuan pemanfaatan internet 37 siswa tinggi (74%) dengan skor
66-80, 10 siswa sedang (20%) memiliki skor sedang 51-65, 3 Siswa SMALB-B
(6%) memiliki skor kemandirian 36-50, serta tidak ada siswa yang memiliki skor
pemnfaatan internet antara 20-35. Pada kenyataannya, siswa lulusan yang
kurang mandiri dan kurang dalam memanfaatkan internet belum dapat terserap
kerja. Dengan demikian terdapat hubungan yang kuat pada kemandirian dan
pemanfaatan internet dengan serapan kerja lulusan.

One of the goals of the graduate school is working. Two things from most needed
is independent attitude and mastery of technology. And one of the needs of today's
technology is an information technology, especially the internet mastery. High
School Alumni Outstanding Deaf (SMALB-B) also wanted to prove that their
school graduates can also work. Factors independence and control internet use is
necessary for the graduates. Of the three existing schools in Sidoarjo (SMALB-B
Gedangan, SMALB-B Dharma Wanita and SMALB-B Putra Mandiri) are
graduates take as many as 57since . Sampling at 50 with details of 44 students
have been working (88%), and 6 not working (12%). SMALB-B student
independence 68% have a high score (69-81), 20% had a score of independence
medium (55-68), 12% had a low self-sufficiency score (41-54). and no student
who has a score of independence between 27-40. While sampling the ability to use
the internet high of 37 students (74%) with a score of 66-80, 10 students were
(20%) had a score was 51-65, 3 Students SMALB-B (6%) had a score of 36-50
self-reliance, and not there are students who score between 20-35 the utilization
internet. In fact, the graduate students who are less independent and less in
making use of the internet can not be absorbed work. Thus there is a strong
relationship on self-reliance and use of the Internet with the uptake of graduate
employment.
