Abstract

Proyek Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung adalah salah satu Proyek Strategis Nasional saat ini, yaitu Proyek Pembangunan Infrastruktur Sarana dan Prasarana Kereta Api Antar Kota (Perpres, 2016). Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung diprediksi hanya memerlukan waktu selama 36 menit untuk menghubungkan Jakarta dan Bandung (Sutianto, 2015). Waktu tempuh ini jauh lebih
cepat jika dibandingkan dengan perjalanan menggunakan moda transportasi lainnya, baik transportasi umum seperti kereta dan kendarana pribadi seperti mobil dan motor. Jika menggunakan kereta konvensional, perjalanan akan memakan waktu selama tiga sampai empat jam, sedangkan jika menggunakan mobil
akan lebih tidak bisa diprediksi, karena tergantung keadaan jalan yang dilalui.
