Abstract

Kerja Praktik (KP) merupakan salah satu mata kuliah wajib yang diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan tentang dunia kerja teknik sipil sekaligus pengaplikasikannya di lapangan yang dapat digunakan untuk bekal dalam memasuki dunia kerja. Kerja praktik dilakukan pada proyek Barsa City Apartment - Cornell Tower yang terletak di Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Dalam pelaksanaan kerja praktik ini, penulis mempelajari proses manajemen dan organisasi proyek, kesehatan keselamatan kerja dan lingkungan (K3L), metode pelaksanaan proyek, serta permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi dan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Struktur organisasi menunjukkan bagaimana koordinasi dari pemilik proyek, konsultan, dan kontraktor serta hubungan antar divisi pada kontraktor proyek. Program kerja kesehatan keselamatan kerja dan lingkungan (K3L) serta penerapannya juga menjadi salah satu pengamatan penulis. Mempelajari metode pelaksanaan yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara teori dan pelaksanaan di lapangan. Penulis juga diberikan penugasan yang harus dikerjakan selama kerja praktik seperti, penyusunan IPL, mapping, dan pengecekan tulangan.

Practical Work (KP) is one of the compulsory courses that are expected to add insight into the world of civil engineering work as well as its application in the field which can be used as provisions in entering the world of work. Practical work was carried out on the Barsa City Apartment - Cornell Tower project, located in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. In the implementation of this practical work, the authors study the project management and organization processes, health and safety environment (HSE), project implementation methods, as well as problems that occur and solutions to these problems. The organizational structure shows how the coordination of project owners, consultants, and contractors as well as the relationship between divisions in the project contractor. The work program for health and safety environment (HSE) and its application is also one of the writer's observations. Studying implementation methods that show the difference between theory and implementation in the field. Authors are also given assignments that must be done during practical work such as preparing IPL, mapping, and checking reinforcement.
