Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan guru bekerja secara work from home (WFH).

The Covid-19 pandemic causes teachers to work from home (WFH). This is something new for the teacher and has never been prepared beforehand, so the teacher needs to do his job. Found differences in working normally with WFH. Working on a WFH basis will make it more difficult to communicate between teachers and students, so that teachers have an extra burden in doing their work. In this study, the workload measurement of State Junior High School teachers in the City of Jember will be carried out. The workload calculation method used is quantitative using M-FTE (Modified-Full Time Equivalent) and qualitatively / subjectively using the NASA-TLX and RSME methods. In the research, respondents with certain criteria will serve to fill out questionnaires from the M-FTE, NASA-TLX, and RSME methods online through the zoom meeting application. Then get the workload category by combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Based on the results of the calculation of the three methods used and after the combination of the three methods was carried out, the results obtained from the teacher in WFH conditions experienced working conditions with excessive workload categories. Based on the results of the combination of the three methods, recommendations are given to provide training on the use of online working methods as well as create a manual to simplify the system and how teachers work during the WFH period.
